"Now who said sarcasm was the lowest form of wit? " - but also the most effective!

"highest form of entertainment" is i believe the correct version

And also "Sarcasm, the lowest form of wit... but the best motivator in the workplace" -

I prefer the version that I was brought up with :-)

mnamreh - No apology requested or warranted thankyou. You are entitled to your opinion thankfully in this country.

Perhaps you and your fellow members of the 'Mothers Union' should organise a tour of the armed forces recruiting offices in Gt Britain to put accross your views. No wait, cancel that, the government of this country would appear to be doing an admirable job there in the form of cuts.

Alternativaly you could target the branches of 'British Legions' throughout GB. I'm sure you would be most welcome. May I suggest Royal Wootton Bassett as a starting point. :O)

Suppose we'll have to find someone else to bomb now ..... or we could just save some money and stay at home.

The cause was just its just I'm fed up of our so called allies contributing feck all ... Germany springs to mind.

Fred1new - 22 Oct 2011 16:16 - 599 of 685

N,

Agree with sentiment in your posting 578.

But "Cannon fodder" was also applied to the "office class" in the WW1, as well as the term "donkeys".

==========

Dil,

We could have our own back and start a war with Germany.
