Eversheds raises international profile with German link-up
Greg Wright
Deputy Business Editor
THE rejection of the European constitution by voters in France and Holland suggests that the continent is becoming a less coherent place.
But one Yorkshire firm is doing its bit to show that, in the legal profession at least, some ties are worth forging.
Leeds-based Eversheds has sealed formal links with leading German firm Heisse Kursawe.
Eversheds described it as a major step in the development of Eversheds' international profile.
The firm has 11 partners and nearly 40 lawyers. Clients include multinational companies ranging from banks, entertainment and technology companies to real estate investors and developers such as Burger King, Bayerische HypoVereinsbank, Munich Re, Expedia.de, Bovis Lend Lease, NBC Universal Studios and ProSiebenSAT1 Media.
Managing Partner of Heisse Kursawe, Matthias Heisse, said: "We look forward to supporting Eversheds clients in Germany with our local market knowledge as part of an integrated European legal service."
The two firms yesterday announced the completion of their first joint deal, advising on the $25m (16.6m) acquisition by UK-based packaging specialist Stanelco of German company Biotec Holding.
Cheers,
PM

I see it was delayed by 1 hour,at 12.06 when it went through, 23.50p would have been the buy price but my guess, and its only a guess,it that it was a trade buy and not marked up as one.

Time Price Volume Value Buy/Sell Type
12:06 23.50p 2,490,000 585,150 Sell O
11:20 22.50p 750,000 168,750 Sell O
The two largest trades today were both sells and O trades - and why would someone want to sell 2.5M of this such wonderful stock ? ;-) LOL - you know why !

no point in holding shares forever. you dont ever get anything in the bank like that. its also good for investors when the sp holds firm or goes up with a decent churn rate.new money at todays prices is a lot better than old money in mega profit.
i suppose one day you will be right.

Perhaps they took one of your courses on "Ways not to make money" 750,000 at 22.50p price now 23.50p. 7,500.00 extra could have been earned.

Not selling those, no way no how. I get 15pps divi each year (30% interest just in divis)
