THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Haystack - 23 Jul 2015 16:10 - 61635 of 81564

I am not a fan of the South American style. I prefer the wilds of the jungle

VICTIM - 23 Jul 2015 16:15 - 61636 of 81564

Bushy .

Fred1new - 23 Jul 2015 16:44 - 61637 of 81564

He feels more at home in the jungle!

I know he is atavistic, but how far back can a throwback go?

VICTIM - 23 Jul 2015 17:22 - 61638 of 81564

Are you good at crosswords Fred .

Fred1new - 23 Jul 2015 17:39 - 61639 of 81564

B. awful!

Not good at, or for anything.

So I am often told.

Ask the waiter!

cynic - 23 Jul 2015 18:23 - 61640 of 81564

the waiter is being waited upon in some considerable style this evening, as beloved and i have treated ourselves to a very hedonistic night away

Fred1new - 23 Jul 2015 18:27 - 61641 of 81564

Don't send us a picture, unless it is censored!

cynic - 23 Jul 2015 18:35 - 61642 of 81564

MaxK - 23 Jul 2015 20:48 - 61643 of 81564

Haystack - 23 Jul 2015 20:53 - 61644 of 81564

What nationality is the food?

Fred1new - 24 Jul 2015 07:58 - 61645 of 81564

TANKER - 24 Jul 2015 08:09 - 61646 of 81564

cynic - 24 Jul 2015 08:35 - 61647 of 81564

suffice to say it's in the home counties, and everything but everything has been very carefully thought out and executed
absolutely stunning all round, also helped by the fact that for some reason our room was a free double upgrade
once i feel i can and want to afford it again, would return without second thoughts

TANKER - 24 Jul 2015 08:39 - 61648 of 81564

MaxK - 24 Jul 2015 09:05 - 61650 of 81564

What is the point of extoling the merits of a noshery/hotel if you don't say what/where it is? details, details etc.

cynic - 24 Jul 2015 09:42 - 61651 of 81564

Le Manoir if you insist on knowing :-)

hilary - 24 Jul 2015 10:26 - 61652 of 81564

Cyners,

The thread was lurching towards the subject of male grooming yesterday before you announced your plans for a night of hedonism. I sincerely hope that you'd had the appropriate back, sack and crack treatment before entering Monsieur Blanc's prized establishment.

Haystack - 24 Jul 2015 10:26 - 61653 of 81564

I have only heard good reports about Le Manoir from friends. It is somewhere I have thinking of going to for a while. There is somewhere not far from you I can reccomend. It is the Waterside Inn on the Thames.
