THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Female hunter Rebecca Francis was bombarded with death threats earlier this week, after Ricky Gervais tweeted an image of her lying smiling next to one of her kills – a bull giraffe..

This woman has many pictures of her killing all types of animals , Check her out .

why would you want to do that ? i am not even a big animal lover but i just don't understand how you would want to hunt a Giraffe .
She should be put out at night for the lions to hunt .

Fred1new - 29 Jul 2015 09:50 - 61736 of 81564

Mind I am told fox hunting is good!

ExecLine - 29 Jul 2015 13:22 - 61737 of 81564

Why kill large beautiful rare animals?

There is a photo about of this same dentist next to a Leopard he has just killed.

It is absolutely nothing to be proud of or to gain pleasure from the success of doing.

And what about the people who are empowered by their governments to take, what is very big money from these 'fruit cake' wealthy hunters?

Sheesh! Aren't there a massive amount of people about who just trash our precious planet?

In comparison, my daughter and some family friends of hers are going out on Thursday on a 2-week camping safari in Namibia. The idea is to travel around the place seeing different African species.

How the hell can people do that in the future if hunters are allowed to just kill them off?

jimmy b - 29 Jul 2015 13:44 - 61738 of 81564

There are loads of them ,US citizens who travel to kill these beautiful animals .

What is skilful about hunting a giraffe ?

Kill the scum , feed them to the Lions at night we could watch like the Roman days as they are themselves eaten by Lions .

Look at this family of F....g rednecks

Fred1new - 29 Jul 2015 14:20 - 61739 of 81564

MaxK - 29 Jul 2015 14:58 - 61740 of 81564

I was driving somewhere today and went past a kosher Chinese restaurant in Hendon.

http://www.kaifeng.co.uk/

That means prawns, sweet and sour pork as well as all other pork dishes, spare ribs etc are off the menu. It was quite a surprise to see.

MaxK - 29 Jul 2015 17:57 - 61742 of 81564

I wonder what they do with the spare ribs?

cynic - 29 Jul 2015 18:36 - 61743 of 81564

Jeremy Corbyn’s Labour leadership campaign has received a major boost after he won the backing of Britain’s second-biggest trade union, Unison.

Dave Prentis, general secretary of the union, which has 1.3 million members, said Mr Corbyn’s message had “resonated with public sector workers” and that “their choice shows a clear need for change towards a fairer society”.

Unison, which had been expected by some to back Yvette Cooper, instead named her as its second-choice candidate. The decision was taken by Unison’s 23-strong National Labour Link Committee “following a thorough consultation with all the regions”, it said.

About 28,000 Unison members are Labour party members while a further 15,000 have signed up as supporters to be eligible to vote in the leadership contest, the union said.

The number is expected to rise as the 430,000 members who have actively opted in to its political fund are encouraged to register.

Unison's move follows the decision by Britain’s biggest union, Unite, earlier this month to also name Mr Corbyn as their first choice.

Unite, which is led by Len McCluskey, had been expected to back Mr Burnham but named him as their second choice.

The RMT rail union and Fire Brigades Union are among other trade unions to back Mr Corbyn.

Clarkson and friends have moved to Amazon Prime. The new show will be on next year and the deal is for three series.

Interesting development as a couple of days ago Amazon announced a new music streaming service to rival Spotify and Apple.
