Israeli Gaza conflict?????? (GAZA)

Fred1new - 06 Jan 2009 19:21

Will this increase or decrease the likelihood of terrorist actions in America, Europe and the rest of the world?

If you were a member of a family murdered in this conflict, would you be seeking revenge?

Should Tzipi Livni and Ehud Olmert, be tried for war crimes if or when this conflict comes to an end?

What will the price of oil be in 4 weeks time?

cynic - 23 Nov 2012 09:00 - 6271 of 6906

thought HS's minder would be along soon enough

"Lets just say I tried reasoning in the past but until I started throwing bricks he just carried on throwing stones." So the end result is two stoned to death?.. surely you agree that there is a better way?

Haystack - 23 Nov 2012 09:54 - 6273 of 6906

The advantage of the stone throwing method is that the world takes notice for a while and there is some improvement. Eventually the price may be worth it.

palestians on the gaza border trying to get the israels to fire at them to break the cease fire .
do not give a penny of your money to these low life slime

TANKER - 23 Nov 2012 09:57 - 6275 of 6906

80% of gaza live off aid beggars

TANKER - 23 Nov 2012 10:17 - 6276 of 6906

it needs none israels on the borders like myself to act on any one breaking the law
with the right to shoot .

Haystack - 23 Nov 2012 10:17 - 6277 of 6906

Gaza has a financial problem. Israel do not allow Gaza to export anything. Hence they cannot earn any money.

cynic - 23 Nov 2012 10:35 - 6278 of 6906

silly question, but what does (or would) gaza produce that would be exportable?
mind you, hamas seem to have no problems exporting their iranian rockets!

as i understand it, and it is not meant to be derogatory in any way, the strength of the palestinians lies in the quality of their artisan labour force

TANKER - 23 Nov 2012 10:37 - 6279 of 6906

hay I will say this and do no .
seat the people of gaza should vote out hamas and elect
a new gov then seat down and have talks with ISRAEL
but demand that it is on tv for the world to see .
then the people of gaza will win the battle .
but they will not win by firing rockets .
even I will support the people of gaza big time

Haystack - 23 Nov 2012 10:46 - 6280 of 6906

Gaza has farms and light industry. It used to export quite a bit.

Hamas was a democraticaly elected government. The election process was praised at the time for its fairness.

Haystack - 23 Nov 2012 10:49 - 6281 of 6906

Israel has just killed one person and injured six others by firing across the border into Gaza.

It was the killing of a boy aged 14 with mental problems playing football near the border that broke the ceasefire two weeks ago.

cynic - 23 Nov 2012 10:51 - 6282 of 6906

so was the election of Mursi in Egypt, but suddenly there are thoughts that the frogs may have elected a heron as king ...... hamas might certainly be viewed in a similar light by those of less radical persuasion

with regards to farms in gaza, is it not true to say that most of those were subsistence rather than the successful and productive variety at which the israelis seem to excel?

TANKER - 23 Nov 2012 10:57 - 6283 of 6906

hamas are paid by IRAN and are no more than TERRORISTS THAT IS WHY AS LONG AS THEY ARE THERE THE GAZA PEOPLE WILL HAVE NOTHING THEY NEED TO THINK AND FIGHT HAMAS AND DRIVE THEM OUT OF GAZA
HAY THINK

Haystack - 23 Nov 2012 10:58 - 6284 of 6906

The Gaza farmers were quite productive but a lot ofvthem are near the border. They cannot farm any of that land as Israel fires on anyone near the border. When they grow crops Israel makes incursions and bulldozes down all the produce back to a good distance from the border. Gaza are also not allowed to fish ang get shot at in their boats.

Haystack - 23 Nov 2012 11:01 - 6285 of 6906

Hamas get funded by Iran as they do not have any other souces of income for Gaza. It was when Gaza elected Hamas that Israel blockaded the territory. Gaza has the right to elect who they want.

TANKER - 23 Nov 2012 11:09 - 6286 of 6906

gaza as the right to elect who they want .true
and israel as the right to protect there people
and i have the greatist right to call them terrorists
the red cross should not help them the red croos are
feeding terrorists allowing them to buy guns and not food for the gaza people
so why should the world feed the slime

TANKER - 23 Nov 2012 11:10 - 6287 of 6906

hay tell the posters how much cash is given to hamas ever year
for doing there dirty work againts israel .
its called BLOOD MONEY

Hanas do not get on very well with Iran these days. Iran's help is used at the moment because it suits Hamas. The current siruation has put Gaza back on the agenda. There could be a cease fire, but the sticking point is that Hamas want something regarding the blockade of Gaza.

Israel doesn't have much more time to get this tight. The increase in Hamas's capacity to hit Israel should tell them that. Next time it will be longer range rockets with accuracy and ground to air missiles.

this was HAYS POST HEY IRAN HAVE GIVEN MILLIONS TO HAMAS TO TARGET ISRAEL

cynic - 23 Nov 2012 11:35 - 6289 of 6906

HS - Israel makes incursions and bulldozes down all the produce back to a good distance from the border

answer - quite right too, as such farming creates an obvious and serious security risk
