Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

kajman,

Can you please post what alert you set with what criteria and when you think it should have been triggered....

Thanks,

J.

kajman - 30 Jan 2003 14:05 - 630 of 7315

Hi
I set a condition to immediately trigger to see if they were working (RBS>1000).

It fired and all started working when you posted that you were looking at the problem on the other thread.

You must have nudged it just at the right place. :-)

Howeller,

Do you have cookies enabled in your browser?

Gausie - 30 Jan 2003 16:38 - 634 of 7315

re post 631: same type of error message on all searches.

James
Thanks for replying
I think the cookies are enabled. I'm not the worlds most computer literate person, however;-)

chrispoote - 30 Jan 2003 19:30 - 636 of 7315

Several times I try to log on to the Warrants section and get a screen demanding I upgrade my subscription. This doesn't happen every time I go to Warrants. What the hey?...

chrispoote - 30 Jan 2003 19:31 - 637 of 7315

And why has every post I've made today got 'edit' beside it?

Howeller - 30 Jan 2003 20:27 - 638 of 7315

chrispoote
"edit" means that you can change or delete what you have written at any time.

ChrisG - 30 Jan 2003 23:29 - 639 of 7315

Todays trades for NWF look extremely incomplete.

TomL - 31 Jan 2003 15:21 - 640 of 7315

Experiencing a number of problems with "Trades", as below:-

1. Cannot access directly...having to go via stockwatch, click on epic (eg "vod"), then click on "T";

2. vodafone trades data for on 29/01/2003 (sort: "earliest first")appears incomplete...does not return any data between circa 15.19 and 16.46hours. If it was a cache problem, then I would not expect to see any data after say 15.19 (using above example);

3. vodafone trades data for for 30/01/2003 (sort: "earliest first")...returns "no trades found".

4. vodafone trades data for today...31/01/2003 (sort: "earliest first")...returns data starting at 10.47!

TullettJ (MoneyAM) - 31 Jan 2003 16:05 - 641 of 7315

TomL,

We had a problem with trades that was fixed at 10:47, systems are going in place to stop this happening in future...

We apologise for the inconvenience caused by this.

Apologies if these points are higher up the thread.

Using an 800x600 display there are many pages whose button bars disappear off the right hand side (Generally the header and other page content auto-adjust ok).

I also use higher resolution on another machine but I bet I'm not the only one who still uses steam age equipment. I hate having to horizontal scroll.

Also in the FAQ there is an answer about different levels of subscription with no link to any explanation of same.

Chrisp[oote. Not sure why you are having problems with the warr4ants page, we will take a look. As for the edit button, every post should have it so you can go back and amend etc.

ChrisG and Toml: we are taking a look at the trades database.
