post 620 = adequate chart with 25+50 dma marked in ...... some profit taking today but nothing really dramatic given the recent stratospheric rise

Actually, shortly after I get back to England I'll be free of the trading restrictions my employer has hitherto placed upon me, so might have a look at doing some CFD's on this stock. Will depend upon how reckless I'm feeling :o)

SOLA will only be proven a bargain at this level when the next trading statement exceeds expectations!

just wait when Merrills upgrade EPS for 2007. Check the darkside for a copy sola contract with JA SOlar showing wafer prices for 07 of $6.80 instead of the $5.30 that was being charged in 06. with sawing efficiencies and prod upgrades coming through in 07 ML will have no choice to upgrade. Alsp check the 30% prepayments from JA solar that covers new machines capex..what more do people want?

i would agree, but also reiterate the truism that one buys on expectation and sells on the news ..... in this instance, am pleased i was at least alert enough to buy towards the bottom of the heavy markdown ..... indeed, many thanks for the timely reminder about today's update being due

cynic, SOLA is too heart stopping for me...I would have got a heart attack by now investing in SOLA...LOL

i have traded it several times ...... i am sure i shall not hang on that long to this morning's purchase as it makes my SOLA holding somewhat overweight ...... will prob wait for broker reaction or similar, though i guess that will be self-apparent during the day.
