Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

Seymour, the problem should be known after 7am surely to more a question of first 80 minutes?

I missed out on a few trades when the system failed at the end of trading a couple of Friday's ago and now today, the main times I really need the service and its letting me down, I really have to start looking at an alternative if this keeps up.

Moneyam is good (for the price), credit due BUT they really need to brush up to make the service 'fluent'... they have been around long enough to react to and solve problems in swift time.

I am just miffed because I was ready to trade some stocks after reading the weekend press. Would have been s up if i did. BUT i dont trade stocks without level 2.

......so how's advfn with level 2 ??

10 more dearer BUT they also include plusnet quotes as well. Very good and a lot more detail.

One of the interesting differences between ADVFN and MoneyAM is that you can't mention MoneyAM on an ADVFN BB -- references to MoneyAM are automatically edited. At least here you can say what you like without the, er, "Burmese" approach . . .

I've recently been looking at Barclay's proffessional L2 platform. I little expensive but does anyone have any eperience of their service?

2 bloody hours. Rubbish, utter rubbish.

DBennett09 - in my opinion it's dreadful. I've had it free for a long time because I trade a lot with them, but in my experience the software's quirky, slow and prone to errors. I load it up from time to time to see if it's as bad as I remember it and it always is. Haven't tried it since they rebranded it but there was another complaint about it on TMF the other day so it doesn't look as though anything's improved. Maybe it's OK if you're getting it for free but I wouldn't pay for it personally.
