Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

I completely agree with Toya. I appreciate that advertising helps pay the bills, but this is right in your face. Very off putting. I often have stockwatch as a running page and don't want this annoying flashing image. Please get rid of it or move it.

I've just narrowed the stockwatch window so I can't see 'em..............

On consideration, I appreciate that this thread was probably not the correct one to use re the Advert complaint, so only adding this to request any other members that agree with Toya, Indushah and myself to E-Mail Moneyam as I have just done.
They may not appreciate how annoying this flash advert is, when you are watching the screen several hours per week.

Agree with flashing ads,very annoying, get rid of please!

Green flashing buttons extremely annoying on Stockwatch. Please can they be removed.

If they have to be there, how about less intrusive and NOT ANIMATED

Those flashing lights are a pain in the posterior!

Please give us a choice of either removing them, moving them or/and stoping the flashing!

One of the things that made me choose moneyam was the clean readable uncluttered design style, this completely ruins it.

This is part of a site wide campaign, however, although we will not be removing it, we will look at slowing the animation down.

Don't know if a slow down will be sufficient to satisfy all, will have to wait and see.
IMHO it needs to be moved.
As previously suggested. All those who think it should be moved, please make your feelings known via E-Mail.
If you don't tell them your views, they won't know.

It's a health and safety issue and should come with a health warning. I blame the flashing green lights for triggering a sudden attack of scintillating scotoma.

Damned animation, still making me sick.

Ian: I still think they should be removed altogether. They are a complete distraction and they ruin an otherwise very useful and well-designed site. Do you really want your advertisers to drive away the very customers they are trying to attract?

There must be some kind of advertising standards to apply here - just as there would be for television etc.

Something completely different, and I'm sure easily fixable:

BLNX: the chart will draw for any period from 6 days upwards but I can never get it to come up for 5 days or less - and not for Intraday either, which is a particularly useful one some days. Could you have a look at that please? - Thanks.

While you have the bonnet up and are slowing down your flashing green jobbies on Stockwatch, please just tweak the spanner and get the bid / offer to retain their red / blue changes.

Do that and I promise to become a subscriber within the week !

Now, there's an incentive !
