Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Manuel.
Major often spoke sense when he was PM.
The problem was that he wasn't from Eton, the Masonic Hall, or the right Club and that stuck in the throat of many of the Cons Party old leadership.
The party at his time was as split then as it is now.
The problems of labour have some similarity and much of their problems are due to those who think they should be in power, but were rejected by the party membership.
Interesting to watch!

There will have to be postal voting as there was in the Scottish referendum. You cannot disenfranchise people who cannot get to the voting stations. It is mandatory in the Representation of the People Act.

Postal voting with verification is fine.
Anything else is an invitation to fraud.
Vote early, vote often!

My God am I dreaming, Fred praising a Conservative politician. Dementia slowly creeping into his red mind.
Always had this vision of Fred, sat there in his 1946 demob suit, chairing the local Wheel Tappers and Shunters club, oversize flat cap ringing his bell announcing the highlight of the evening "Meat Pies Have Come"
His ever suffering wife complaining Fred never takes me anywhere except that sxxt hole Labour Club. Fred giving her a shake sometime in the seventies at half past six on a Saturday morn...."Well Are You Coming To The Strike Meeting Or What?"
Merry Christmas And A Happy New Fred! :0)

Lefties generally lack a sense of humour. Corbyn was complaining today that Parliament is not serious enough.

David Cameron is already preparing a pro-European Union dossier that will be sent out to British families ahead of the in-out referendum.
In a move that has infuriated eurosceptics in the Conservative Party, it can be disclosed that Downing Street is already planning to issue a document explaining “why we need to stay in the EU”.
It will lead to accusations that the Prime Minister is pre-judging the result of his ongoing renegotiation with Brussels and comes amid speculation that at least one Cabinet minister will resign in the New Year in order to campaign for Britain to leave the EU.

Miss World abandoned the controversial requirement for the contestants to appear in a swimsuit after decades of criticism that the show was merely a cattle market, objectifying women’s bodies for the pleasure of male viewers.
But here they are anyway.....
