Pursuit Dynamics - A British success story in the making? (PDX)

Andy - 31 Aug 2003 11:58

Pursuit Dynamics plc is a UK based research and development company, which was founded in 2000 to develop and commercialise a revolutionary pumping and propulsion technology. Pursuit Dynamics (symbol: PDX) was listed on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange in May 2001.

PDX 25 Sonic.

The PDX Technology is a steam-based system that has applications in both pumping and marine propulsion. It is cheap to manufacture, extremely robust, contains no moving parts and is virtually impossible to block. Pursuit Dynamics owns 100% of the Intellectual Property Rights that surround the PDX Technology.

Pursuit Dynamics is now working towards the commercialisation of the technology it has developed.

stringy/Andy.....I hold the same views.

Lets hope that they become self funding...wouldn't that be nice.

As for jumping in....well I did that at 47p...:-)

stringy - 31 Aug 2005 18:51 - 678 of 1003

Just found this on another thread-

"So where are we again?

PDX with two major food companies just signed up

That fairly big drinks op Coca-Cola ready to roll-out global

Kidde looking to take up revolutionary Firemist

The United Stated of America Department of Defence licencesed PDX anti-decontamination system

.......and - OIL RECOVERY FROM SAND proved more than viable using PDX"

-liked that!

His next post-

"Sorry - i forgot that the bloody big brewery - Greene King - has bought PDX too!!!"

andrewbertram2003 - 01 Sep 2005 14:02 - 679 of 1003

Bring on NASA too!

I'd like to know what the licensing model is?

They have 8 distributors over 6 countries...good start.
Lets see Russia, Asia and Aus added. With the middle easts activities...that surely would be a big market for other key applications....

God I wish I worked for Pursuit sometimes! :-)

stringy - 01 Sep 2005 17:47 - 680 of 1003

I'm sure it will come.

Before PDX a pump was a pump was a pump and how long have they been around?

This kit is just amazing.......more of an advance than the turbojet engine was over the piston engine. I mean a pump with NO moving parts which can do all this can and with so many applications where it does the job better and/or cheaper than a conventional pump. It will be used Globally and for the forseable future imo.......just can't see it being any other way.

Andy - 01 Sep 2005 22:09 - 681 of 1003

stringy,

I agree, I have seen the "pump" in action, and it's amazing!

First US licence for Pursuit
MoneyAM
Pursuit Dynamics, which develops PDX processing technology, said it has won its first US licence in the food and beverage industry.

The order came through Pursuit's recently appointed US distributor for its food and beverage processing technology, A&B Process Systems. It said the licensee is a major US food manufacturer and producer with global, multi-billion dollar revenues.

The terms of the licence grant are not being disclosed for reasons of the client's commercial sensitivity.

CEO, John Heathcote, said the PDX Sonic is beginning to gain serious sales traction in worldwide markets.

'I look forward to reporting further progress to shareholders as our order pipeline produces further sales from system trials.

Andy - 05 Sep 2005 11:51 - 685 of 1003

oakapples1,

Now up 16p to an all time high of 240.5p MID!

Let's see if it holds, but every deal is a step in the right direction.

NielsJensen - 05 Sep 2005 20:55 - 686 of 1003

This may happen...

andrewbertram2003 - 06 Sep 2005 09:25 - 687 of 1003

Niels...thats a good lilnk.
I wonder how they have arrived at 4.19 for a SP???hmmmm

As for US deal thats excellent and I hope Kidde and Nasa are next.

Nice steady build of orders and before you know it PDX is generating rather a nice mount of earnings.

God I wish I had funds for buying additional amounts....:-(

Andy - 06 Sep 2005 10:09 - 688 of 1003

andrew,

So do I!

Apparently EK is still short, but he must be 40 points to the bad, so any more good news could well force him to close out, which in itself would benefit the SP.

andrewbertram2003 - 07 Sep 2005 09:29 - 689 of 1003

Andy

sorry...whos EK?

dclinton - 07 Sep 2005 09:34 - 690 of 1003

EK is Evil Kineval - a notorious short player in the uk markets. Just the rumour that EK is short in a stock can often send people heading for the exit with the subsequent effect on the stock.

If you look back at the chart for February you can clearly see where the first rumours that he was short in PDX started circulating. People ted to despise him because it is the small investors who usually suffer when this happens.

Andy - 07 Sep 2005 09:36 - 691 of 1003

andrewbertram2003,

EK is "Evil Kneivil" aka Mr. Simon Cawkwell, a famous city bear raider, and a member of the T1ps.com website.

EK takes large short positions in companies he perceives as being overvalued, and was the first person to predict the downfall of Robert Maxwell I believe.

He has had some spectacular successes, including a large investment in PDX as it rose last year. He has also had some enormous losses, including a 3 million loss a couple of years ago.

he is rumoured to be short PDX, and posts on BB's under his own name, to scare holders out, in my opinion.

EK is part of the T1ps website, ad their operation should be investigated by the FSA IMO.

Oakapples142 - 07 Sep 2005 09:40 - 692 of 1003

Thanks for info on EK - the sort of question I wanted to ask but didn`t want to seem stupid - it is probably more than likely that he/and others come under a variety of names - I had better not mention my suspicions for fear of perhaps being wrong but you may all have your own lists of perhaps "who not to take too seriously"
Good luck true PDX followers

Andy - 07 Sep 2005 17:18 - 693 of 1003

Oak,

Pleasure.

MAN have sold out, a strange time to do so IMHO.

Unilike perhaps some of us they may automatically stick to set profit margins and they will have done very well out of PDX

Andy - 08 Sep 2005 10:11 - 696 of 1003
