The major cause of black crime in the US is the conditions that black people live in. That situation is perpetuated by racism in the US. It is more difficult for black people to get decent education, jobs, health care, housing, bank accounts and all of the benefits of modern society. A similar situation exists in the UK.

The US is a nation of immigrants. Waves of immigrants have landed and pulled themselves up by their bootstraps despite, in many cases, not speaking the language or having family for support.
