THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

TANKER - 14 Mar 2016 16:39 - 68864 of 81564

if we vote to stay in the eu the queen is redundant so she may as well abdicate now
if she is head of the country she should speak her mind if she does not then she is nothing just a sponger

TANKER - 14 Mar 2016 16:40 - 68865 of 81564

MERKEL WILL BE THE NEW QUEEN

Stan - 14 Mar 2016 16:45 - 68866 of 81564

Mam redundant?.. sir you go to far.

cynic - 14 Mar 2016 17:20 - 68867 of 81564

no MrT, the queen should most definitely not become embroiled in politics
indeed, there is - or now was - an accepted protocol that the contents of private conversations are never divulged

albeit that i think the incident took place 5 years ago, to say the leak is bad form is almost like saying that blair usually told the truth

jimmy b - 14 Mar 2016 17:58 - 68868 of 81564

TANK , Merkel's finished , without doubt.

If the Queen wants to step down Stan might be interested .

dreamcatcher - 14 Mar 2016 18:51 - 68873 of 81564

Leave me out of it. :-))

TANKER - 15 Mar 2016 07:14 - 68874 of 81564

Brexit camp can't count on family ties to bind for trade
SYDNEY | BY WAYNE COLE

REUTERS/TIM WIMBORNE/FILES
Brexit cheerleaders are heading for a cold shoulder if they think the mother country can waltz into the warm embrace of her English-speaking siblings and win free trade deals with them.

Supporters of Britain's exit from the European Union argue that "family ties" could compensate for the partial loss of the Continent's 444 million customers.

David Davis, a Conservative MP and die-hard eurosceptic, outlined their ambitions in a recent exhaustive speech.

"This is an opportunity to renew our strong relationships with Commonwealth and Anglosphere countries," he said.

will10 - 15 Mar 2016 08:54 - 68879 of 81564

I did. We respect and honor those that defended our country and fought for the defence of other countries. You do not speak for those that give their lives. They can not speak for themselves now. Hold your tongue you miserable piece of shit.

TANKER - 15 Mar 2016 08:55 - 68880 of 81564

Neil Kinnock was on TV last night wandering around Wales talking to the public who all said they would vote out .Now Wales receives more investment than the rest of the UK and yet they still wanted out.
He seemed surprised.
Kinnock mind you has a plum job to protect in the EU ,another politician just thinking of himself .
