Referendum : to be in Europe or not to be ?, that is the question ! (REF)

required field - 03 Feb 2016 10:00

Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

MaxK - 13 Apr 2016 21:02 - 691 of 12628

In his new job?

grannyboy - 13 Apr 2016 22:10 - 692 of 12628

I'm going to separate each sheet and send them individually, with a note that they need to rectify the falsehoods and deception.

That'l be eight envelopes....:D)

There is a bonus waiting for Cameron and the Conservatives waiting if we stay. UKIOP is liable to shrink as a party if we stay in the EU. Those supporters were largely ex Conservatives. If we stay in the EU then they are likely to return.

grannyboy - 13 Apr 2016 23:34 - 694 of 12628

There's a very good chance that could be the case, but not from me,
I've NEVER voted Tory and I won't be bothering to vote for anyone if
the vote is to remain.

SIMPLES!

Stan - 14 Apr 2016 09:13 - 695 of 12628

You cannot not vote, it's not allowed on here according to some.. isn't that right Trolls?

Chris Carson - 14 Apr 2016 09:19 - 696 of 12628

Pardon Stan can't hear you, come out from behind Fred's skirts.

Just like to know but in all honesty. What is the actual point of you existing Stan , I mean what is the point .

grannyboy - 14 Apr 2016 10:21 - 700 of 12628

2517GEORGE - 14 Apr 2016 10:31 - 701 of 12628

When we joined the Common Market Europe's GDP as a %age of global GDP was 38%, that has shrunk to 17%. For the UK to prosper it needs to start addressing the other much bigger 83% of global GDP.
2517

VICTIM - 14 Apr 2016 10:38 - 702 of 12628

I suppose what can you expect when you add countries like Romania , Bulgaria , Greece , and so on 2517 .

grannyboy - 14 Apr 2016 10:53 - 703 of 12628

Yes i don''t think the remainers can do maths.....
They now tell us we can't leave the EU because there
is a massive 500 million market and you can't get that anywhere else.

I've done some maths and mine come to...
The Commonwealth 1.5 BILLION...The rest of the world.....
5 BILLION!!!!...

MaxK - 14 Apr 2016 10:59 - 704 of 12628

And you would still have access just like the rest of the world.

Stan - 14 Apr 2016 11:04 - 705 of 12628

As I understand it you can Max, but we will still have to abide to some of the rules that some people don't like.. the free movement of labour for instance but not a have say or vote as full members.

cynic - 14 Apr 2016 11:05 - 706 of 12628

i shall vote "out, more in hope than expectation

however, brexiters would be worse than naive even to pretend that everything will be just dandy and simple should "out" carry the day

jimmy b - 14 Apr 2016 11:13 - 707 of 12628

Maybe not on the first day but we will be fine . Free movement of labour ? NO we need a strong leader not a wimp ,another Thatcher would do .

Stan - 14 Apr 2016 11:23 - 708 of 12628

There are so many +s and -s to consider and we can only make a better judgement when we know the full facts from both sides of the fence..and then it's a case of are people voting for their own narrower self interest or for the greater good in the medium to long term.

I look forward to gathering and then considering those "Full facts" before voting day.

00-0-0==-=

They are all going to move in next door to Vicky, Granny and JB.

Better put the kettle on and lock the wine cellars.

Fred1new - 14 Apr 2016 11:34 - 710 of 12628

Stan,

"Full facts"

Unfortunately, the full facts are only just coming out about the Napoleonic Wars.

-=-=-=

Mind if the "R V" is out, I bet the price of property in London will crash.

--=-=-=

And with the changes in rules the "forced" repatriation of UK citizens from Europe may cause a little pressure on house prices and NHS services.
