similar to yoo I think--struggling to survive! That one I'm glad I did sell although at a loss. signs of hope at yoo today though-well a flicker!

Driver, no funds to top up with ERX at present [but at least my loss is a bit less today:)]should have some more next week but am looking for safer bets for some of that. TMC was one i had in mind but will look at ALD too. RGM and EUA were others i was planning on buying. SAR could be worth a look but as i only have about 2k to play with dont want to spread myself too thin.
Cynic what is the epic for proximagen. dont know anything about it but am rueing the fact i didnt invest in HAWK when i had the chance @25p
will dmor naturally

Proximagen = PRX
The shares are pretty illiquid and i am certainly not saying this is a "must buy" .... however, i have bought and believe my source though i still see no rns .... suspect reaction will not be immediate, but allegedly could be pretty dynamic when it does happen.

was out yesterday afternoon on a technical course (aka golf!) so did not pick up prices until the evening ...... there seemed to be some very strong finishes almost across the board, but have no idea whether they were a true market reflection or merely some heavy squaring away of books for w/e at the auction ..... Monday morning will tell

I actually posted this on HAIK site, but it applies equally to all shares, and in particluar to the likes of SOLA, WCC etc ...... (HAIK may be) on a different exchange but not on a different planet! ...... an article well worth reading in today's Sunday Times biz section - "Briton curbs China bosses".
It's a long article, but a small extract is below ......
".... this year's bubble in the Chinese stock markets could set off a chain of consequences for global investors. Undoubtedly there is going to be a huge correction at some point. It builds up like snow on a mountain."
That does not of course mean all will come tumbling tomorrow or even during the remainder of 2007, but the odds and timing must surely be ever shorter.

another very good article in the Money section of today's Sunday Times ..... Riffing has downloaded the whole in the Griffin Mining thread, but it's fag to read!.
Basically, the article recommended checking out China Shoto, Renesola, Property Minerals (better than WCC, I ask?), Haike and Standard Chartered

I have bought a small amount of property minerals due to that article cynic--results out at the end of the month--then hopefully this will start going up. certainly massive potential IMO. also bought into WSM a new main market share-which seems to be popular. large company-results should be soon and in the oil services area so I hope I've picked well. this thread has been very quiet lately!

news on BBC (the company not the tv channel)
Town centre securities have increased their holding by a little bit in BBC.
Not that significant and perhaps I read too much between the lines, but BBC reported a strategic review with the possibility of selling the business. Town centre securities are in the business of land and property investment.
Interesting.

PMLH or whatever its code is has been very quiet indeed, but i would certainly prefer it to WCC .... the latter looks far too easy for the Chinese to manipulate; look at today (see thread) with only 918 shares traded!!

Happy Birthday Driver. I have a commemorative coin from the Festival of Britain, it is probably worth as much as my SER shares at the moment! At least there is a good chance that SER will recover and grow in value unlike the coin!
