THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Vicky,

I think I have a dodgy keyboard, which I bought off a wandering car salesman.

Please report anybody fitting the photofit included above.

Fred1new - 08 Apr 2016 08:24 - 69818 of 81564

Max.

It reminds me of Billy Bunter's discussions in the dormitory at Greyfriars.

Only he and is pals were at Eton.

He and pals were stunted then and remain so now!

What a mess they have created.

VICTIM - 08 Apr 2016 08:28 - 69819 of 81564

Dodgy seems to be the word at the moment .

jimmy b - 08 Apr 2016 08:40 - 69820 of 81564

While we are talking dodgy corrupt money grabbing people .

jimmy b - 08 Apr 2016 08:43 - 69821 of 81564

Just in case you don't recognise him .

VICTIM - 08 Apr 2016 08:45 - 69822 of 81564

This is it jimmy you can do or say what you like as PM because there is no come back , they make a fortune from dummies who pay fortunes to them .

TANKER - 08 Apr 2016 08:47 - 69823 of 81564

David Cameron has finally admitted he benefited from a Panama-based offshore trust set up by his late father.

After three days of stalling and four partial statements issued by Downing Street he confessed that he owned shares in the tax haven fund, which he sold for £31,500 just before becoming prime minister in 2010.

TANKER - 08 Apr 2016 08:48 - 69824 of 81564

TONY BLAIR SHOUD BE HUNG

TANKER - 08 Apr 2016 08:49 - 69825 of 81564

tony blair more evil then HITLER . HITLER NOT IN THE SAME LEAGUE AS THIS SWINE

jimmy b - 08 Apr 2016 08:56 - 69826 of 81564

I thought we need to balance it up a bit with Hinge and Bracket jumping on the band wagon , i don't like Cameron myself but their hero Blair is worse than any of them .

cynic - 08 Apr 2016 09:05 - 69827 of 81564

i don't like that the DC's father set up some sort of family trust in panama (and biz for others it would seem)
however, that was not of the son's doing nor remotely in his control

however, as far as DC himself is concerned, it looks that he repatriated the money (broke up the trust?) and paid the tax
arguably he should have done it sooner
the quantum is scarcely huge and much less than some of the false claims made by some MPs - and we won't even mention the commonplace abuse amongst the eurocrats

nevertheless, the principle is the same, and no doubt a full picture of sorts will emerge in the coming days

Fred1new - 08 Apr 2016 09:11 - 69828 of 81564

Once more JB is advertising his mind reading talents and picking heroes for me and others.

I think if he reads my posting I derided Blair when he was PM and subsequently.

Perhaps, like some con artists he distorts for his own satisfaction the written facts. A failing of quite a few in the Nasty Party.

ExecLine - 08 Apr 2016 09:25 - 69829 of 81564

I'm surprised you lot are falling out about the fact, that 'all politicians are the same and just 'in it' for their own ends'.

VICTIM - 08 Apr 2016 09:30 - 69830 of 81564

I know ExecLine but this crocheting can get a bit tedious at times, need some hanging .

Stan - 08 Apr 2016 09:49 - 69831 of 81564

Wrong again "there not all the same".. just the one's that you lot seem to vote for time and time again.

iturama - 08 Apr 2016 10:06 - 69832 of 81564
