Israeli Gaza conflict?????? (GAZA)

Fred1new - 06 Jan 2009 19:21

Will this increase or decrease the likelihood of terrorist actions in America, Europe and the rest of the world?

If you were a member of a family murdered in this conflict, would you be seeking revenge?

Should Tzipi Livni and Ehud Olmert, be tried for war crimes if or when this conflict comes to an end?

What will the price of oil be in 4 weeks time?

Charts, Are you hearing voices as well?

Gausie - 03 Feb 2009 21:09 - 702 of 6906

Fred

you started this thread 4 weeks ago today, with the question 'what will the price of oil be in 4 weeks time?'

It seems we now have an answer - down from $53 to $41.

chocolat - 03 Feb 2009 21:25 - 703 of 6906

And we've lost about 9 cents against the dollar since the 8 Jan high.
And pump prices have increased.

Blimey - only 4 weeks?

Kayak - 04 Feb 2009 00:09 - 704 of 6906

Wow that works out at 25 rants per day :-)

MightyMicro - 04 Feb 2009 01:18 - 705 of 6906

Nice to see that Iran is sending 'humanitarian' aid to Gaza.

"Cyprus has searched a cargo ship suspected of smuggling weapons from Iran to the Gaza Strip, the foreign ministry in Nicosia has said." - BBC

What is it about the phrases 'homemade' or 'home grown'? They get used a lot by apologists to describe the rockets that Hamas fire at Israel - as if by being homemade the rockets contain wholesome and healthy ingredients and are assembled by bumbling idiots so couldnt possibly do any harm. The truth is that these are high tech modern armaments developed by one of the six nations in the world who really do understand rocket technology.

The latest homemade and wholesome development by the Gaza rocket technology suppliers: Iran launches home grown satellite

cynic - 04 Feb 2009 08:39 - 708 of 6906

ah but at least being homemade they do provide local employment and, of course, tax revenue for the benefit of the whole!

Fred1new - 04 Feb 2009 10:08 - 709 of 6906

You mean a little like the handouts America sends Israel.

Gausie - 04 Feb 2009 10:27 - 710 of 6906

no.

MrCharts - 04 Feb 2009 10:36 - 711 of 6906

The Monchegorsk (Iran Hedayt) is carrying 10 containers of Iranian rockets and other weapons for rearming Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

The missiles and other weapons, concealed in welded steel containers, contravene UN Security Council Resolution 1747 which forbids Iran to export arms under international sanctions and violates Israel's terms for accepting a Gaza ceasefire in its 22-day operation.

If the ship is released, it will be intercepted by the Israeli Navy and that might result in an Israel - Iran war.

Some, no doubt, will already be preparing to write in support of an appeal for the Iranian casualties of an unprovoked Israeli genocidal attack on innocents blah blah blah.

Fred1new - 04 Feb 2009 10:39 - 712 of 6906

Horray!!!

Gausie - 04 Feb 2009 10:55 - 713 of 6906

Fred - if the prospect of a Israel/Iran war excites you to cheers then you're even sicker than I thought you were.

cynic - 04 Feb 2009 10:59 - 714 of 6906

as i have frequently said, it is the outsiders as much as the domestic lunatics who keep fomenting the conflict

Having gaps in this thread (the visible posts are 708, 710, 711, 713, 714) where the squelched one (T.S.O.) has apparently posted is mildly amusing, a bit like playing that children's game, Battleships......... :)

Richard

Gausie - 04 Feb 2009 11:22 - 716 of 6906

Richard - you're not missing anything.

Once again, Fred has turned up at a battle of wits totally unarmed.

MrCharts - 04 Feb 2009 11:36 - 717 of 6906

The "Iran Hedayt" - "Battleships" - non-existent posts - empty vessels............. lol
Richard

Ruth - 04 Feb 2009 11:37 - 718 of 6906

Mr charts, Gausie is right, you not missing much, Just Fred proving for all to see on the thread what a "first class prick really acts like"
cheering and getting all excited at the prospect of war, what a pathetic example of a man he is,its his family and wife i feel sorry for, we only have to endure his crap from our computer desks, his wife/family must have to face this sort of crap every day, more fool them is all i can say, it cant be much fun living with Freddie boy and his rose tinted glasses,

He wont be able to see this post;-) as i think im squelched from a previous thread, where again he chose to offer all his support for the wrong doers rather than the true victim/s,
