bberg $1,200 per month. 2 year minimum.
direct access is through any L2 platform via your provider. i use GNI and find their product identical to the city screens. they act as counterparty to settle trades but you are "live" in the market with your order. the better spread traders will also post for you at a limit and you can track your fill on the screen as it goes.
forget the ramp deramp crap...keep it friendly and accurate on the thread.
SETsMM for SEO is magnificent. at least now you can see some visibility in the mkt. the MM were clueless in this one.

from what I saw of the market-makers they were extremely astute and far from " clueless", the had the price well under control and most days their "book" was well balanced, SETsMM hasn`t altered the downward spiral, my opinion is short to 17p,
and its not long coming .

my "clueless" statment was from the horses mouth. i was in the city for enough years (as a market maker and proprietary trader) to know enough about when the boys have a handle on a name and when they do not. you are right they were balanced and just moving it around but they know no more about the direction of this stock or its prospects than any of us posting the days away.
why i am delighted (and agree with you on this) is that we are now seeing the level of transparency in the market to ascertain the true depth. we are going to see increased volume with punters finding it easier to trade and hopefully get a better feel for the direction.
if that is a downward spiral from the lack of RNS then so be it.
out of interest Seq, are you short and if so is it a meaningful short?

have been for a while bos, only 2 weeks and a bit left before I close- at a huge profit naturally-DOW short is kicking in today, futures down 15 pts.
prop "meaningful"?? its all a matter of degree, my neighbour is a commodity dealer, waiting for delivery of a top of the range new Range Rover --`Sport`,I think its called,as a gauge my punts are as meaningful in comparison to his, to the cost of one of its` alloy wheels. He gives me the odd nudge and wink over a beer, nah I wouldn`t say meaningful

Agree the short term chart does not make pleasant viewing. Problem with shorting SEO is that there may well be considerable good news (UK orders / US progress) in the pipeline which will burn any shorter tout suite. Thus far the SP continues to bounce off support at 22p and if this level is broken, 20p, followed by 18p should be your next targets.
My own opinion from a TA perspective is that if you are short, you are about to be seriously stuffed. Take a look at the MACD, classic divergence in evidence. Don't forget that the recent dip is also caused by thin volumes, not 'serious' selling.
Just my opionion, etc etc.

thanks for sets info, but is there any particular reason why SEO is now traded on sets?

superrod , from observation it appears that every week more smallcaps are coming under sets. i think it's bullshare who produces a list of new companies under sets in traders room.

pth- "seriously stuffed", sounds most uncomfortable, luckily before that happens I shall go into reverse with only a slight taste of ` sage and onion`,
This is a fun share to trade in a mild way, personally I can`t take its` future too seriously, there are hundreds of others in similar straights, they limp on for years supported by cash calls- all too readily filled by naive people- present co. excepted, naturally.

Can someone explain to me why when buys outweigh sells by three to one the sp dips?

check out the VirtX market -trades often go through there- there are 100k+showing, also look at the 100k and 250k close timed deals on LSE ,1m in all almost certainly roll overs, which sticks another 500k onto `sells`, and voila not 3:1 any more.

the aquisition of biotec was subject to shaeholder approval.i hold my seo shares in a nominee account. is that why i haven't had any further news through the post or are paper shareholders in the same position?
