Lambykins's Dutch Coffee House - ADULTS ONLY (LAMB)

Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

7thFloor - 12 Feb 2005 16:22 - 728 of 24230

Spaceman How do you manage to monitor shares 'n stuff while you're doing - what was that phrase again? - Oh yes, work?
I tried to do a bit of that a while ago but found I was missing so much info and opportunities with the share trading. It simply wasn't worth it for me. There again you're probably paid a lot more than I was! :-)

jj50 - 12 Feb 2005 16:53 - 729 of 24230

7th Floor - I had the same thoughts!
Gone off the idea of "real" work - can't
afford it :-)

7thFloor - 12 Feb 2005 17:41 - 730 of 24230

"Real Work" - I tried it once but it didn't suit me! :-)

Spaceman - 12 Feb 2005 18:26 - 731 of 24230

7thfloor, I dont monitor them hour by hour only day by day and I dont have many at the moment!

MightyMicro - 12 Feb 2005 19:47 - 732 of 24230

Hil: I have Wednesday's Torygraph but I guess I'm too late. Sorry, didn't see your post in time. BTW, are you coming to the London Traders's Day with the false beard again this year?

Spaceman - 13 Feb 2005 07:37 - 733 of 24230

Morning All, Its Sunday and I am allowed a FEB today ....

Socrates - 13 Feb 2005 07:52 - 734 of 24230

Good morning Spaceman. I'll join you with an FEB. Lovely stuff.

I wasn't in much yesterday although I kept tabs on what went on, I was busy chasing ancestors around the internet. Surprising how elusive they can be.

optomistic - 13 Feb 2005 14:45 - 735 of 24230

Umh, is it the smoking policy that's keeping folks out? Anyway it does seem a nice quiet place to put my feet up for an hour. Before I do that I'll make a coffee and see what Bunny has left us in the fridge, or perhaps a piece of Priscilla's lemon drizzle cake, although it may not be drizzling at its best after a night in the fridge.

7thFloor - 13 Feb 2005 14:54 - 736 of 24230

Just you & me in here O? I've had the last of the lemon cake. Sorry!

Spaceman - 13 Feb 2005 15:22 - 737 of 24230

Optmisitic, I hope the smoking policy isnt causing any problems, Happy to change it if it is.

Just got back from a drive, strange weahter here, bright and suuny one moment then heavy rain and no visibility then snow then sun.

Right I am off up to the smoking room to read the sunday papers.

Priscilla - 13 Feb 2005 15:36 - 738 of 24230

I know even God took Sundays as a day of rest but I can't leave you chaps in here eating stale LDC! So, as Jeffmack is clearly failing to meet demand, there's a freshly baked LDC for you all on the side. Please leave a large slice for Lamby so he feels appreciated too.

Spaceman - 13 Feb 2005 17:05 - 739 of 24230

Yummy Lemon Drizzle Cake, my favorite. Lamby has eaten so much that he has fallen asleep !

Big Al - 13 Feb 2005 17:07 - 740 of 24230

What's this place and where is the adults section? ;-))

I'm having Lamb tonight. ROFLMAO!

daves dazzlers - 13 Feb 2005 17:08 - 741 of 24230

Anybody want a share a bottle of french red.

Spaceman - 13 Feb 2005 17:09 - 742 of 24230

Al, your banned already, didnt you read rule 3 in the header ;-)

Oh all right you can stay, in fact your welcome, have a look around see if you can find the French tarts.

Big Al - 13 Feb 2005 17:15 - 743 of 24230

Spaceman - didn't read the rules! Doh! Must remember to order lamb-free roasts in future.

;-))

MightyMicro - 13 Feb 2005 17:45 - 744 of 24230

For God's sake Al, don't mention mint sauce either.

I'll have a French tart when you find them . . .

Big Al - 13 Feb 2005 18:13 - 745 of 24230

MM - Obviously mint sauce is eaten with Pork. ;-)

As for those French tarts - I assume in here you mean hookas! LOL Where's Dylan?

Greystone - 13 Feb 2005 20:29 - 746 of 24230

The Real Madrid match against Osasuna tonight was a bit of a travesty in truth but Real came out winners 2-1 with a little more help from late substitute Michael Owen....again.... Peed down all through the game which I found strange, cos we've had a lovely sunny day here....

Tapas was great (won't say what is was for fear of barring) and now I've shown the "gaffer" how to make a good "Cafe Irlandes", the evening always closes on a high. ;-)

Early night now and ready for the fray in the morning. See you then.

G.

jj50 - 13 Feb 2005 21:04 - 747 of 24230

Good night Greystone! Glad you are
getting the locals trained! Which
part of Spain are you in?

Big Al - Glad to see your assets survived the North
Sea and you are back here in tact! What's a
hooka BTW - is it what the All Blacks do before
a rugby match? :-)
