Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

HARRYCAT its the small and medium sized companies that employ the most workers, simply because there is more of them.
The big multi nationals have the biggest influence in Brussels because they have/pay lobbiest to push their causes...Juncker was prime minister of Luxenburg when he was devising tax scams for mult-nationals.

Yes Cynic. I am sure out, But I do not think there is any politician/think tank that truthfully can tell us the consequences of this action. As said above, it may only be a few months before all countries are out. I tend to think Finland is doing very well out, but our economy is different to theirs.

Unemployment rates in the Euro-zone
Germany 6.2% Lowest rate since Reunification
Euro Average 8.9%
France 10.3%
Austria 10.4%
Italy 11.5%
Portugal 12.2%
Spain 20.9%
Greece 24.6%
Since 1999 when the single currency was introduced it has certainly benefited Germany at the expense of Greece, Spain and Portugal, (Indeed most other members) The one-size fits all suits Germany.

Greece is surely never going to repay its loans or indeed recover. They are in a very bad way.

Yes they are and Europe has all but abandoned them .
Merkel invites the middle east to Europe and when she realises the problem she has caused leaves it to Greece ,disgusting.
I like Greece ,i have been to many of the islands including those that are now migrant camps ,the Greek people are generally good ,i really feel for them.

‘This is all a German racket designed to take over the whole of Europe.
‘It has to be thwarted. This rushed takeover by the Germans on the worst possible basis, with the French behaving like poodles to the Germans, is absolutely intolerable . . . I’m not against giving up sovereignty in principle, but not to this lot.
You might just as well give it up to Adolf Hitler, frankly.’

Interesting to hear the Bank of England governors remarks today. Thought he was meant to stay neutral. Seems to be backing staying in, with the instability remarks of leaving.

There's far too many pro europhiles GIVING their pro eu stance when what they're spouting is either deception, speculation or plain LIES...
Some of them need to keep their mouths shut, to give the appearance of neutrality..
