required field - 14 Jul 2010 13:55

It is now time to switch to a new Money AM football blog as the world cup is now over and we all look to the future.....World cup 2010 is over, Bravo Espana, and Forlan, once again and bring on the new season !.....I never expected the last thread to be such a success...thanks all.... so this new one might go on for years without the need to edit the title...we shall see...

The way Utd are playing at the moment there is no way they can possibly be title contenders. In fact the emergence of Spurs plus the presence of Chelski and Arsenal puts qualification for next year's CL in doubt.

As for Everton, well, they'll do what they always do - not very much :-)

Chris Carson - 07 Dec 2011 22:12 - 733 of 6918

ptholden - Accept your comment re Everton, Moyes has punched above his weight in the Premier League for several years with Jack Shit funds, imagine what he could achieve with half the funds that City and United have available.

Must congratulate Barcelona on becoming world club champions.....what a side.....no Mancunians in the knockout stages of the champions league.....tut...tut....

Stan - I saw Robin Friday play for Cardiff and that article is not how I remember him. He was a lazy donkey and a dirty one too.

Louis Suarez given 8 match ban and £40k fine. Ooop's :O)

jeffmack - 20 Dec 2011 20:52 - 741 of 6918

Liverpool have released a statement in the light of Luis Suarez's eight-game ban. They are not happy. It says: "We find it extraordinary that Luis can be found guilty on the word of Patrice Evra alone when no-one else on the field of play - including Evra's own Manchester United teammates and all the match officials - heard the alleged conversation between the two players in a crowded Kop goalmouth while a corner kick was about to be taken.

Joe Say - 21 Dec 2011 07:27 - 742 of 6918

and both the scum club he plays for and the left wing beeb moan about it despite admitting the root offence - the beebs take is his cultural background.

they are that left wing they forget this is England

Joe Say - 22 Dec 2011 07:29 - 743 of 6918

todays story though from the defunct beeb - JT on trial

No mention of a possible defence being that it was quite acceptable as part of his cultural background

and that's not even questionning the merits of pouring so much public money into a trial with I believe a maximum £2,500 fine. Would plod have made so much effort had this happened in a town near you, between two 'ordinary' mortals ?

Dil - 22 Dec 2011 10:06 - 744 of 6918

It's double standards anyway , if he calls Bale a sheepshagger tonight then nothing happens if he calls a coulored guy anything he's fecked !

skinny - 22 Dec 2011 10:35 - 745 of 6918

You mean Bale isn't...............................................

Joe Say - 23 Dec 2011 07:42 - 746 of 6918

pleased with that last night

got to give it to Harry - thought the African pass-the-parcel looked good especially the first half.

However, the unfortunate fact is that whilst sky et al like to milk it, the reality is that the title is manchester bound this year.

Trippier sign's a three and a half year contract for Burnley, Now a reasonable chance of making some money hear at 12/1 still.

Lock up your daughters the Clarets are coming to Townhttp://www.burnleyfootballclub.com/page/TheGaffer/0,,10413~2567194,00.html

HARRYCAT - 09 Jan 2012 08:08 - 749 of 6918

Clearly Delia wasn't happy to roll over & let Burnley take the day, Stan! I thought they would be concentrating on staying in the Premiership, but looks like they are confident enough to have a go at the F.A Cup. West Brom next!!!

Stan - 09 Jan 2012 08:54 - 750 of 6918

Burnley have a very small squad so with Trippier and Duff out of our defense they were there for the taking, which is what happened.. It does now allow us to concentrate on the league

required field - 09 Jan 2012 09:00 - 751 of 6918

We're no longer in the premiership or championship running.....out of the cup......out of the league cup...no longer in europe...now we can concentrate on next year......
