THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

About time something has to be done with irresponsible dog owner's

Should the people who suffer with the lost use the Romanian stile of ........
... and eye for an eye
in this case the "eye" would be the owner of the dog.

Certainly only needs one case like that, for the Government to put more interest on controlling those dangerous dogs.

Colchester dog attack: Baby killed and brother seriously hurt

Neighbour Dave Thompson said the dog looked like a Staffordshire bull terrier

A four-month-old baby boy has died and his 22-month-old brother is seriously injured after a dog attack in Colchester.
The surviving boy was left with "life-changing injuries", Essex Police said.

He was taken to Colchester General Hospital and later transferred to a specialist unit.
The boys' mother also sustained minor injuries in the attack after being bitten by the animal. The force said the dog had been put down. ........

was it the family dog? .... if so, totally irresponsible to have such a dog around very small children ...... even "friendly" dogs such as westies can be unpredictable if suddenly surprised

Chef Evans, nice to see he's got a trade to fall back on after football, they
say his specialty is a meat sandwich.

I still haven't seen one of the new £5 notes. I suppose these days, relatively speaking, I don't get out much. Ah well.

Anyhow, wifey saw one this morning and had a play with it too. She says, "They are awful. I don't think they fold very well either. Apparently, the new £10 notes are going to be the same."

What do others think?

grannyboy - 15 Oct 2016 16:08 - 73937 of 81564

Those fivers are like a toy money, and as Exec says do not fold or lose
their crease and slippery.

When i get them i can't wait to spend them, maybe thats the idea..

dreamcatcher - 15 Oct 2016 16:27 - 73938 of 81564

They will survive the washing machine much better than the old paper notes. I did read that they shrink in the heat. :-))
