THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Funny enough Fred, I thought you would be first in line for the clean-up.

Also, I suspect they will be looking for accommodation...how many are you taking in?

jimmy b - 16 Oct 2016 10:17 - 73951 of 81564

No he only talks the talk , never walks it .

jimmy b - 16 Oct 2016 10:19 - 73952 of 81564

I have to add looking at those pictures ,how sad for one of the worlds once great cities , Hollande should be proud .

grannyboy - 16 Oct 2016 11:03 - 73953 of 81564

It goes along with their plans for open door mass immigration and with it
the consequences of importing jihadist terrorist, along with third world slum
dwellings..

cynic - 16 Oct 2016 14:08 - 73954 of 81564

just WHERE in Paris?

iturama - 16 Oct 2016 14:31 - 73955 of 81564

I believe those photos are of Avenue de Flandre. An almost mile long avenue in the 19th arrondissement. Don't believe I have been there and don't want to. Closest I have been is the Pere Lachaise cemetery in the 20th. That was starting to look a bit scruffy last time I was there, 2 years ago, but only the dead sleeping there.

cynic - 16 Oct 2016 15:23 - 73956 of 81564

so not exactly champs elysee then :-)

Fred1new - 16 Oct 2016 15:57 - 73957 of 81564

I am sorry.

I thought it was Downing Street where the barrow boys and girls parade their wares.

Fred1new - 16 Oct 2016 15:58 - 73958 of 81564

That must be next weeks image.

cynic - 16 Oct 2016 16:20 - 73959 of 81564

you're confusing your memory with Dijkstraat in Amsterdam

jimmy b - 16 Oct 2016 22:29 - 73960 of 81564

I'm sure you would love to live in that sort of shit Fred .

Laurenrose - 17 Oct 2016 08:04 - 73961 of 81564

the racist card out at strictly again , she should of been booted off first , she was not that good more like a fish out of water , lets hope it gets rid of the show , because its not good for non dancers

cynic - 17 Oct 2016 08:11 - 73962 of 81564

so rosie is neither racist nor bigoted .... that's cheering

btw, there's no verb "to of"

Laurenrose - 17 Oct 2016 08:30 - 73963 of 81564

we must allow a non white to win these shows. even if they are crap . we have allowed them to join the police even if they are useless , but its good for relations , do not give a job on ability give it on colour .

Chris Carson - 17 Oct 2016 08:41 - 73964 of 81564

You can change your name TANK, but you will never change from being a complete KNOB! :0)

Fred1new - 17 Oct 2016 08:59 - 73965 of 81564

If you haven't read this article, it may be of interest and sums up possible intentions.

Also, may the Brexiters my think again about fragmenting Europe again.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/oct/15/what-should-we-do-about-russia-aleppo-ukraine-cyber-baltic-vladimir-putin

!Aleppo, Ukraine, cyber attacks, Baltic threats: what should we do about Putin?"

grannyboy - 17 Oct 2016 11:39 - 73966 of 81564

Yes well of course in the run up to the referendum we were told if we
voted LEAVE Putin would be over the moon, the sames now being said
with the implication that if the voters of the US vote for Trump then
that would please the Russians.

Without going for all out war with Russia, the west needs to bring in Assad
into the talks,no matter how much it irks those who want to remove him..

"Also, may the Brexiters my think again about fragmenting Europe again."

That statement needs clarifying?. Brexit has no connection to the fragmenting
of europe, it's doing a good job on its own, and when little fred brings up
the Ukraine, that was instigated by the US sponsored removal of a democraticly
elected government.

As far as most sensible people are concerned is its NATO that protects the West.

Fred1new - 17 Oct 2016 12:36 - 73967 of 81564

Will NATO continue in its present form?

umumuh!

cynic - 17 Oct 2016 12:45 - 73968 of 81564

if trump gets elected, then possibly not
i don't see that brexit makes any difference

grannyboy - 17 Oct 2016 13:11 - 73969 of 81564

The BBC have just reported on the Iraq governments attempts to retake
the city of Mosul, and the reporter stated "the Iraq government are attempting
to displace the 'suicide bombers'...Suicide bombers??, they have being occupiers,
how can they be called suicide bombers in that location?, When they're blowing
up bombs in Europe they can be called 'suicide bombers', but why the feck are
they describing them that way in Mosul?...

Typical BBC...
