Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

it will be interesting to see how well the grey suits can manage that gunslinger now in the white house
he could be a total disaster for all sorts of reasons, but just maybe some of his undoubted drive can be channeled in a constructive direction

Vicky,
Do you mean UKIP or Trump party members?
I haven't noticed the limits which Maybe is going to set on immigration.
Are they the same as she failed to obtain when she was in the Home Office?
By the way, are you a possible terrorist or murderer?
Or perhaps, just a thug?
Must be thousands of those queuing up to invade the UK.
You seem to me a mindless as some of Trump supporters and the words of wisdom their new "leader" utters.
The political scene at the moment makes me think of a fake reality being sold to the mindless.

Bit difficult her limiting immigration when she was Home Secretary Fred when the whole of the EU had the right to move here if they so wished.
That won't be a problem soon and we'll be able to kick out EU criminals and undesirables.

Well all these protests going on against Trump around the country make me laugh , don't remember protest against Merkel when she let all those rapists and all sorts into Europe without any consultation . I can see why Trump sees her as no more trustworthy than Putin .

The EU should see sense over Brexit

China's first direct freight train to the UK arrives at Barking Freight Terminal in East London Credit: JULIAN SIMMONDS
As a symbol of globalisation, the freight train that pulled into a siding at Barking in east London yesterday would take some beating. Fourteen days ago it left Yiwu, a city 200 miles south of Shanghai, loaded with Chinese goods. It crossed seven countries with varying rail gauges, requiring several changes of rolling stock, before travelling through the Channel Tunnel to reach its final destination in Britain.
There is no trade agreement between China and Europe; nor is China in a customs unions with the EU or a member of the single market. Yet 15 European cities are on the so-called new Silk Route, and those who are concerned that Theresa May’s willingness to walk away from the UK’s Brexit negotiations with no deal should keep that train in mind: the goods will find their market, regardless of what politicians in Brussels may do or say.

After they did away with Car Tax Disc , I've just read , DVLA revenue falls 93million since paper car disc scrapped on BBC web . Some one should be sacked for this it was supposed to save money , but doubt they will .

2517,
Are you, Dumbo or Vicky on psychedelic medication?
I think many would think me a realist who is apprehensive about the political direction which some deluded "optimists" wish to pursue.

Fred
Far from being deluded, as a 'Leave' voter I have often stated that there will be hard times ahead after Brexit, of course there will be problems, problems which we as ordinary citizens cannot possibly know.
As for my optimism, I am more optimistic now having heard TM's speech.
A realist you are not, you are a 'Remoaner' who takes every opportunity to 'talk down' our country and certain MP's.
Apprehensive you are not, you are a 24 carat 'doom-monger'
Try looking on the bright side sometimes, you'll be amazed how good it can make you feel.
Enjoy your day.

Or you can look at the opposite view..I'm venonmously against following
the direction of socialist liberal, multi-cultural open borders federal ideologist
that over the last 25+years has railed against patriotism and nationhood..
And who has more confidence that being an independent global trading
nation is a positive.
