THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Welcome to an invitation to adventure “Billionaire” – a mind-blowing voyage of all your senses, simply the best new and innovative contemporary estate in the world!!!

After spending lots of time on mega yachts and large private jets that can sell from $50 million to $500 million, it baffled me that no one was developing luxury real estate at those high levels for the super wealthy. I set up my real estate development company in Beverly Hills, California, to cater to the super affluent that demand the very best in life!!!

My mission started five years ago to create the most extraordinary, exciting and dramatic contemporary estate ever built in the most beautiful place in the United States. I searched by land and helicopter to find a setting worthy of creating this masterpiece. I found it by air in the hills of Bel Air, within the platinum triangle of Beverly Hills, Holmby Hills, and Bel Air. This enclave is home to the most affluent people in the world, from Captains of industry to the Hollywood elite. The weather is unparalleled year-round, nothing but bright sunshine and stars; the lush private oasis nestled in the mountainside are talked about in nearly every corner of the earth. Built upon the single most spectacular view in California, this property has an unrivaled 270˚ view that extends from the snow-capped San Gabriel Mountains to the sun-drenched shores of Malibu. Visitors can experience the heart of Los Angeles in one expansive panorama, a singular achievement for California real estate.

After purchasing this amazing property, the real excitement began. With my over thirty years of design experience, I wanted this to be the crown jewel of my career. My team of highly-skilled and passionate visionaries have created and sold eight amazing luxury homes in the past five years, shattering every expectation and redefining every record on the books. The goal with “Billionaire” was simple; every inch of the property in the home had to be innovative, flawless, and meticulously curated. The budget was there is no budget. To keep in line with my mission, I traveled the globe and secured the richest materials the world had to offer, taking it upon myself to personally organize each and every detail. The home technology throughout – the combination of sight, sound and security – is nothing short of cutting-edge and totally flawless. It had to be a home that would leave you in utter amazement! The house succeeds in transcending the bounds of the typical home, and dually functioning as a multi-sensory, all-powerful experience for all who enter it.

“Billionaire” comes completely furnished like no other estate in the world. There are over a hundred incredible art installations that will leave you speechless! I could go on for days talking about this property and although I’ve provided pictures, the real experience is to visit this gorgeous home. If you truly like and demand the finest things in life, this is a must see!

Looks like a Spanish hotel..all that's missing is the Germans nicking the deckchairs.

OK. So you are doing some "Internet Shopping".

How do you pay for the 'item'?

Credit Card?
PayPal?
Debit Card?

What are your rights?

What covers you best?

What should you definitely NOT do?

Are you (at least fairly) familiar with Section 75 and your Rights?

The answers to these - and a bit more at: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/credit-cards/PayPal-Section75

Dumbo,

Is she one of your pinups?

Corbyn in PMQs expressed condolences for the police officer that was (not) killed in Northern Ireland couple of days ago. The officer was shot twice in the arm and is in stable condition in hospital. So much for Corbyn's preparation. As good as fatty Thornbury's.

jimmy b - 25 Jan 2017 13:30 - 75870 of 81564

If you saw Diane Abbott on Andrew Neil's Sunday politics , now that was car crash TV ,god is she thick ,even thicker than fatty Thornbury ..
If Labour lose the two bi elections coming up it could spell the end for them.

"If they lose the two bi elections coming up it could spell the end for them"

I'm not too sure about that jimmy b, after all they had to scrape the bottom of the
barrel to get those two...LOL!

grannyboy - 25 Jan 2017 16:02 - 75872 of 81564

Although little fred could be interested, just to help out his mate corbyn out.

jimmy b - 25 Jan 2017 16:10 - 75873 of 81564

What we need is nutter to win Stoke , bring it on ..

Haystack - 25 Jan 2017 17:57 - 75874 of 81564

It would be a nutter.

Fred1new - 25 Jan 2017 19:21 - 75875 of 81564

Dumbo.

If that is your case, why don't you stand for election?

That would really be a riot.

jimmy b - 25 Jan 2017 21:29 - 75876 of 81564

Back to sleep Fred .

There is going to be a substantial revolt against Corbyn. A large number of Labour MPs are opposed to Article 50. The northern MPs would like to vote against it but are scared as they are in leave Constituencies. The London ones are in remain Constituencies and intend to vote against. There may be a few more who are in remain areas.

Fred1new - 26 Jan 2017 08:56 - 75878 of 81564

And there are fairies at the bottom of my garden.

grannyboy - 26 Jan 2017 09:23 - 75879 of 81564

Corbyn and the Labour party don't know what the right hand is doing from
its 'left' hand, they know that in the Labour heartlands, NOT THOSE IN THE
ISLINGTON CHAMPAGNE SOCIALIST SET, but those in traditional Labour
heartlands, where the Labour party no longer represent their voters, and
thats why Labour are in turmoil.

They want to give the impression that they now understand the worries of
the voters and will carryout the wishes of their voters, but their true colours
and an inability to have a joined up plan that keep changing from one day to
the next keep showing that to be a false premise, and they will try to stymie
the process of the negotiations at every opportunity.

They took Labour voters for granted in the past, but it now looks like the
voters have had enough of their representatives who think they don't know
what they voted for in the referendum, and thats where UKIP come in.

Haystack states that "There may be a few more who are in remain area's"

Yes like that individual Owen Smith who believes he knows better then his
voters, who in his constituency voted to LEAVE, but he now intends going
against their wishes and not vote to trigger article50...Pity there's not a
by-election in his constituency..

And now we have T Maybe trotting off to the USA to become one of Trump's barbie dolls to save the UK from post-Brexit chaos.

Congratulations.
