THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

The article you refer to is overheated flatus.

Have a read of Andrew Lansley's article and the Employment Article.

PS.

Reflect on the last 6 years of tory mismanagement of the economy, NHS and Welfare, Education, Police Infrastructure and "foreign" affairs.

Even the Scots and Irish want to escape from the tory clutches.

Osborne, Cameron and Mother Theresa will be responsible for the breakup of the UK and the demise of a "reasonable" society.

They are responsible for the present and ongoing fragmentation and increasing inequalities and discontent within the UK society.

re - Osborne

Needs a good kick on the backside, enough playing about with extra jobs and M. P. job

Laurenrose - 20 Mar 2017 08:11 - 76262 of 81564

the one thing that is very clear is the distain of the public by ex mps who are now trying to rubbish the uk . its very clear that they were only interested in their own ends .

hesltine the greedy vile man getting 93000 a year from eu
and another 31 getting more or less the same .
branson not paid a penny in taxes to the uk but attempting to put the bot into the uk
blair the murderer putting is murdering views
the list goes on

never give a hoot about the uk just their own ends
and it is very clear now to see

Laurenrose - 20 Mar 2017 08:12 - 76263 of 81564

and its MPs from all parties . is it worth voting , lets change the system

cynic - 20 Mar 2017 08:45 - 76264 of 81564

76260 - fred - no one disputes the intrinsic accuracy of the reported recording so bluster as much as you like, it is (pretty) factual reporting via papers that could scarcely be described as pro tory

Fred1new - 20 Mar 2017 10:08 - 76265 of 81564

Manuel,

The article you indicated seems to me to have been based on the meaning the word “affiliated”.

Many individuals are affiliated to "clubs", "organisations", "companies", "collectives" but don’t hold the same “views” as the majority of the other affiliates or “members”.

Look at the bunch of ragtags who are members of the con party.

Labour in disarray.... NO

"Freda" in tinted glasses as usual

Labour's deputy leader says left-wing supporters of Jeremy Corbyn are involved in a plot which could destroy the party as an electoral force.

Tom Watson was reacting to claims that the grassroots Momentum group - which helped make Mr Corbyn leader - is hoping to get financial support from Britain's largest trade union, Unite.

Momentum's Jon Lansman was reportedly taped saying that if Len McCluskey was re-elected as Unite general secretary, the union would affiliate to his group rather than just to Labour

Hot air.

cynic - 20 Mar 2017 14:20 - 76268 of 81564

so because it does not suit fred's political leanings, tom watson must be spouting hot air and mccluskey the truth

my view is that the reverse is far more likely to be true

Fred1new - 20 Mar 2017 15:19 - 76269 of 81564

Of course, you are not biased!

cynic - 20 Mar 2017 15:35 - 76270 of 81564

of course not, but even if i were, i'ld still look at the probability and, if i were honest with myself (which i am), would come to the same conclusion

Chris Carson - 20 Mar 2017 15:44 - 76271 of 81564

Don't know why anybody responds to Fred's posts he clearly has an agenda to wind as many people up as only he can. He's been playing this game for years, ignore.

VICTIM - 20 Mar 2017 15:49 - 76272 of 81564

Where's jimmy anyone know .

Fred1new - 20 Mar 2017 16:44 - 76273 of 81564

"if i were honest with myself (which i am)",

Is that a delusion?

Sums up the week.

cynic - 20 Mar 2017 16:46 - 76275 of 81564

neither delusion nor illusion :-)

grannyboy - 22 Mar 2017 16:26 - 76276 of 81564

Apparently a deranged Bhudist monk has gone on a murderous rampage in
central London, the authorities are awaiting a response from the religion of
peace on this disruption to their daily lives of 5 times a day prayers..

grannyboy - 22 Mar 2017 16:33 - 76277 of 81564

A statement is to be made by the police shortly, and it is expected to try
and reassure those from the muslim community that this act of murderous
terrorism does not reflect badly on them, and that their religion is truly a
religion of peace and no one should think otherwise!!.

Fred1new - 22 Mar 2017 18:40 - 76278 of 81564

And your raison d'être is?

cynic - 22 Mar 2017 18:44 - 76279 of 81564

is that the correct usage?
je pense que non! :-)
