Come on sky just MM games to stimulate some life.

driver - 02 Nov 2006 16:18 - 766 of 1049

Is this just a bounce.

laurie squash - 03 Nov 2006 10:19 - 767 of 1049

MM must have had a champagne breakfast, the trades show no reason for the sp drop, even the sell was 0.85p

laurie squash - 03 Nov 2006 14:41 - 768 of 1049

Look few pints at lunch and he's level again!

soul traders - 06 Nov 2006 14:22 - 769 of 1049

Now this is a bit more like it:

BLR Bid: 1p Offer: 1.3p Change: 0.225

2.5 mil volume.

laurie squash - 06 Nov 2006 14:40 - 770 of 1049

13th is rough date for Monteray finish and 4th Dec finish the well so hopefully some continued upturn from here.
However with MM some downturn along the way.

soul traders - 06 Nov 2006 14:46 - 771 of 1049

So a good few weeks ahead - we hope!! Thanks for the info Laurie.

I'm not scared of the MM's. Would have been tempted to have some more at around the 1p mark, but am already overweight this stock.

laurie squash - 06 Nov 2006 14:49 - 772 of 1049

I have large stake in GOO so will up stake further from profits.
Also waiting for ERX so will buy further BLR when funds available.

MM at it already 0.90 on large sell at 1.11p

moneyman - 07 Nov 2006 16:06 - 773 of 1049

Up again today. Looking quite positive that this could really breakout from it's recent range.

Rutherford - 07 Nov 2006 16:41 - 774 of 1049

Almost sure to breakout as results of Monterey well get closer. Still awaiting results of production from ARCE but I think they will not release them till Monterey results come through. Gas was found at Monterey in 1989 by Arco so gas should be found but question is whather it is commercial or not. An exciting couple of weeks ahead for BLR.

explosive - 07 Nov 2006 23:20 - 775 of 1049

Very tempting to buy more, the Oct '05 WH Ireland report had a target price of 3p. ARCE 2-4 Steam Testing was pushed back to Dec when we can expect results.

Rutherford - 08 Nov 2006 04:35 - 776 of 1049

WH Ireland had a price target of 13p if I remember correctly. I believe they are steam testing now but it will take six months before it is 100% efficient but they are producing at the moment I believe.

soul traders - 08 Nov 2006 11:49 - 777 of 1049

I have just checked the WH Ireland report - the price target was 3p, but at that point in time there were 367 million shares in issue. There are now at least 705,955,522.

Means price target about 1.55p?

This will go in the right direction, of that I have no doubt, but may require patience.

IMO/DYOR.

Rutherford - 08 Nov 2006 16:31 - 778 of 1049

I have also just checked the WH Ireland broker report on BLR website and on page 8 they say that 13p would be a fair value although I will admit they have had a bit of dillution since then.

Rutherford - 09 Nov 2006 22:29 - 779 of 1049

According to poster on iii. He received a newsletter on Tuesday saying the rig was at TD on Monterey. Should be news very soon.

soul traders - 10 Nov 2006 15:21 - 780 of 1049

Ruthers,

Good news re post 779 (well, it is if they find commercial gas!!)

Post 778: call it 6.5p target, then? That's still more than a 4-bagger for me (and I pointed out months ago that I was budgeting for dilution anyway, so am not at all fazed by this). Note though that WHI is the house broker and that the estimates were made in more optimistic times. Not that that puts me off, but some of the ecstasy has gone out of the oilers, to say the least. Will double-check the WHI report when I get a mo.

soul traders - 10 Nov 2006 15:24 - 781 of 1049

PS, who is this chap on iii? I'm on BLR's e-mail updates list and haven't heard a dickie-bird since the director appointment at the end of October.

Rutherford - 10 Nov 2006 16:38 - 782 of 1049

Rockbottom post on iii.

Rutherford - 10 Nov 2006 19:26 - 783 of 1049

This can be found in Carrizo results released 9th NOV. Looks like very good news as they would not run production casing if not confident of flow results.

"The Wintershall operated well in the southern North Sea has been logged and
production casing set. Flow testing will begin immediately."
