Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Fred always seems to get nasty when there is an attack , the police handled that very well also the SAS were landing on London Bridge in a helicopter as they were being shot in case the police were met with more force I,E guns ,so all in all i think the response was top notch as does the ex SAS guy Phil Campion .
What's up Fred didn't you like the shoot to kill policy ?

i guess the irish must be pleased to have the breeding label removed from them
of course it was not very long ago that an irishman with the wrong religion in the wrong place would have suffered much greater physical damage

Exec,
I use Windows 10 pro and Windows 7 and Chrome.
I have the same problem and curse a little, but find if I allow Chrome to manage my passwords on Moneyam and simply double click the duplicate password "window" I go straight back to "investors page" as wished. Disappointment starts at that point.

I hold no torch for Diane Abbott and she was one reason for me giving up watching Thursday night TV politics with A Neill. Also, I am beginning to allow myself to be irritated by the latter.
-=-==-=
D Abbott does seem to bluster, but I have a sneaking guess she has difficulty in holding masses numeric data in mind and tends to concentrate on strategy.
I know personally that if I deal with "figures", "dates", I have them down in front of me or have to repeatedly look them up. But memory and recall of other types of data or playing strategic chess is not difficult.
Also admire many of the politicians' abilities to recall data or "contracts", statements without difficulty when interview. Even if some, like Boris's figures and statements, originate in mythology.
-=-=-=-=
As far as the police response to the "London lunatic action" is concerned I have no quibbles and think it probably prevented further "mayhem" and therefore justifiable.
-=-=-=
Just heard there may have been a new attack in Paris, where armed "officers" have an obvious presence which wasn't preventative.
But, Jumbo, if you think "up and at them" prevents terrorism, so be it that is your choice.

I'm afraid she (Diane Abbott) is not available for interviews as she is still trying to work out on her abacus, how much Corbyn's increase in police officers is going to cost

Do us a favour, put yourself in the front line!
I would prefer to find a way that "groups" could deal with what they see as problems in a different way to killing or being killed to achieve their "goals".
That is to empower them to consider "negotiation" as "possible".
