As per Stan's original post. Next Wednesday is OK with me. So it looks as though a triumvirate (or a troika, if you prefer) at least is attainable.
Hope the good doctor is aware that if he is going to be driving in London, then the "congestion" charging zone has been extended. If he isn't driving, then he will find the beer cost will swallow up all his savings on not buying petrol..........

The Latest:
Chris definetly. can't make it.
Fred not sure yet.
No decision from Corgie.
Ian OK.
Stan OK.
So that looks like only 40 percent definetly on, and if one of those breaks a leg...
So Sadly I think we should put it off to January.

I think it is probably better to wait until second week in January. Life is getting a little congested at the moment.
Suggest meeting Wed 11th January 2008 at a pub of your choice.
I wish all a season's greetings and a happy, peaceful and prosperous NEW YEAR.

..Oh really? -):
Going back to the Wrexham-Marlebone service I was told by someone that In the near future there Is going to be a fast service from Crewe-London which will take 2 hours.
The choice will then be getting on a train with no changes to Marlebone at 3 and half hrs Minimum or going to Crewe and being In London In 2 hrs minimum. There Is also the question of prices to consider as well, they are not out yet.

Let's hope the Wrexham-Marylebone service doesn't suffer similar problems to new Great Central service:
A new rail service between the north east of England and London had to be cancelled for a day when its lone train developed a technical fault.

We stopped at Crewe yesterday on the way to Liverpool and picked up a timetable, surprised to see they already have a near 2 hour service already running to London.
Yes, thats a bit worrying for the Sunderland service, hope it's just early teething troubles.

As in:
"OUTLAWS"
Outlaws are known to have very special qualities, that no other class
offers. Their specialty tends to be in the darker, sneakier art. Many of
these qualities can come in handy in many situations, such as picking
locks.
An outlaw can go into many divisions of fringe life, such as slicers,
thieves, smugglers, and other criminal professions.

Hope you're not travelling (by train) on New Years Eve:
Rail companies said hundreds of people who booked tickets for trains would have to use rail replacement buses instead.
Chris Gibb, managing director for Virgin Trains, said Network Rail's engineering planning processes were in a mess.
