Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

to repeat ........
just because others wish to rush headlong towards ecological oblivion, there is no reason we (UK) should join with them

The last i heard too was China was building a coal fired plant every week.
So to claim that the UK should not join them in the belief that the UK's efforts
will save the planet is rather deluded..the same with the number of vehicles
that keep increasing relentlessly in countries like India and China... but these
eco-warriors like cynic and that ditzy bint lucas would rather see the UK paying
extortionate energy prices just to salve their consciences, and put the uk at
a disadvantage...Because these liberal bleeding heart lefties love nothing better
then to show concern for those around the world before those of their countrymen
and their hatred for the white indigenous population..They call it liberal guilt for
the sins of the Empire...

you wrote
the eu laws have been trashed by Germany so why should any country take any notice of liars
i replied, which does indeed answer the above, though you do not like it
just because others wish to rush headlong towards ecological oblivion, there is no reason we (UK) should join with them

oh Lord! you clearly do not even know the difference between an opinion - why should any country take any notice of liars - and fact - the germans trashing eu climate rules

why would that surprise you?
the tories fucked up big time with the manifesto and the whole campaign approach
had they had common sense and competence instead of a couple of complete numpties directing things behind the scenes, then the tories may well have had a majority of 50 or more
even if they can last long enough, the tories will now need to pull several rabbits from the hat and have economic luck on their side to make themselves acceptable across the whole spectrum of society - diehards of all colours can be ignored

The bookies are always right.
Does that mean Wales, Scotland, and NI will have had won separation referendums by then?
Corbyn could be good for English panting bulldogs.
-=-=-=-=--
Manuel,
Any chaos created by the referendum and Brexit will be placed at the feet of the Con party, that includes Cameron, May and the leading tory "figures".
Just as Brown was and is blamed for the financial crash, which was the fault of the Bankers and financial city genii, the greed of much of the public and self-interest of many financiers.
Corbyn is only 68 years only and May make it.
Interesting to watch.
But there must be a reform of Tax, Welfare and Health Systems, Education and review of many other systems.
It is a colossal job and needs a collegiate form of government (even a coalition) to do so.
I am glad that I am only watching and criticising.

I read that Diane Abbott is putting her poor performance in the general election down to type 2 Diabetes.
What a load of crap. I have had that diagnosis my self and why because I was over weight and led a hedonistic life style. But it hopefully never affected the way my brain works.
I may be wrong but she does look a little chubby and may be too many Kensington lunches and no exercise other than her vocal cords which don't work that well at the best of times,
