The "Con"servative Party, What are they good for? (this was the Thread Title but looks like it was to long to print up).

Well they primarily exist to support the extremes of big business and Off-Shore Tax Dodgers, using various methods to get elected, for example Divide and Conquer and playing to the less intelligent of the population through the Gutter Press etc.

Here's the latest wind-up rant from their leader Cameron.

What do you say then Dil?

Fred1new - 28 May 2017 19:50 - 79 of 140

He is looking for his boots and costume.

Dil - 31 May 2017 13:03 - 80 of 140

Sorry Stan only just saw your question and the answer is that in my opinion they weren't the best option in 1997 , 2001 , 2005 , 2010 and 2015 where each time I voted Labour.

Couldn't stand Cameron and Osbourne and would not vote Tory if those two were still in charge this time round.

Corbyn , Abbott and co are a total joke and gawd help us if they ever ended up running the country in tandem with that Scottish jerk Sturgeon.

Welsh nationalists are just as loony as the SNP , UKIP ... job done and Lib Dems are nuts too so by a process of elimination there's only the Tories left who by coincidence agree with my views on Brexit.

Hope this helps and at least I vote Fred.

Dil - 31 May 2017 13:06 - 81 of 140

If Labour lose my constituency they will likely end up with less than 100 MP's so my vote doesn't really count except in the overall totals.

Stan - 31 May 2017 14:36 - 82 of 140

Thanks Dil, can't be doing with personalities because it's the conduct and interests of the parties that concern me the most.. see my opening post.

When voting having priorities is an essential element where I'm concerned.

Tactically in order to get rid of or stop them (the Con artists) getting power.

2517GEORGE - 31 May 2017 16:20 - 83 of 140

So you prefer Corbyn, McDonnell and Abbott then Stan, 3 devout supporters of the IRA, Hamas and Hezbollah and other terrorist groups.

Stan - 31 May 2017 16:34 - 84 of 140

George before posting suggest you read the post that you are responding to more throughly.

2517GEORGE - 31 May 2017 16:49 - 85 of 140

''it's the conduct and interests of the parties that concern me the most..

Tactically in order to get rid of or stop them (the Con artists) getting power''.

Stan, I stand by my post as the only alternative to the Tories is Labour and the 3 irks I mentioned above are indeed Labour MP's.

Fred1new - 31 May 2017 16:52 - 86 of 140

George.

Haven't you notice Wars End when Combatants speak to one another.

I have known one or two murderers in my time, as yet I haven't committed murder and was prepared to talk to them.

Also, one can have sympathy with the goals of a group without condoning their methods of attempting to obtain those goals.

I spoke to my sister who is a convinced tory earlier to-day and don't feel contaminated.

2517GEORGE - 31 May 2017 17:04 - 87 of 140

''Haven't you notice Wars End when Combatants speak to one another''.

Fred, and all 3 had absolutely nothing to do with the peace process, they hate Britain and the British, encouraged killing of innocent men women and children but still hung around for the money. They all have blood on their hands but not for being combatants, they never got close enough for combat. All 3 should never have been allowed to stand as MP's

Fred1new - 31 May 2017 17:22 - 88 of 140

George,

I don't think "they" hate Britain, just some of the false "standards", morality and political "hypocrisy" set by and followed by some in the UK.

There are double standards applied by many political leaders and followers, often for personal gain of themselves and those of their own ilk.

2517GEORGE - 31 May 2017 17:33 - 89 of 140

Labour is awash with hypocrites like Abbott, I'm thinking schools here

Stan - 31 May 2017 18:51 - 90 of 140

"Stan, I stand by my post as the only alternative to the Tories is Labour and the 3 irks I mentioned above are indeed Labour MP's."

Freudian slip George.. how revealing.

2517GEORGE - 31 May 2017 20:16 - 91 of 140

Not at all Stan my post 87 makes it quite clear what I think of these individuals.

Stan - 31 May 2017 21:56 - 92 of 140

Very much so George it's just that you are refusing to admit it.

Dil - 01 Jun 2017 12:41 - 93 of 140

Just like to add Stan that once we sort Brexit out and Labour get rid of the current left wing loonies running and ruining the party I'll probably end up voting Labour again for the next 25 years.

Would never consider voting for the bunch of clowns in charge at present.

Stan - 01 Jun 2017 22:17 - 94 of 140

Dil, put your dislike of individuals to one side for a while and vote for the best manifesto is my advice to you.

aldwickkk - 04 Jun 2017 16:54 - 95 of 140

Good advice Stan , am going to vote Tory

Stan - 04 Jun 2017 19:03 - 96 of 140

Your choice of course aldwickkk.. but it's not without "your own personal responsible" for the rest of "our society".

Stan - 07 Jun 2017 14:32 - 97 of 140

Another devious Tory trying to play both ends against the middle http://www.burnleyexpress.net/news/politics/burnley-tory-candidate-reported-to-police-1-8580415
