THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

ever council would have a register of all council tax payers like ever other council in the whole of the uk .
if residents are breaking the law then they should be charged with the crime .and then booted out of their homes ,
how can the police name all the missing if they do not know who was living in the tower block the residents who broke the rules are the murderers not the council

Lammy says that dozens jumped from windows although no apparent evidence. He claims large numbers of bodies piled up in staircase although firemen say not

rarely agree with LR, but there is only a little doubt that there was an awful lot of illegal sub-letting in grenfell tower (and no doubt elsewhere too)
certainly well within the realms of possibility that many of those would have been illegals of one kind or another, so for sure they'ld want to disappear

Laurenrose - 27 Jun 2017 14:48 - 78160 of 81564

the deaths of good people should not prevent the law charging the criminals of their law breaking , those that made money by illegal means must if found guilty and take the punishment , jail the crooks

Laurenrose - 27 Jun 2017 14:50 - 78161 of 81564

lammy should be made to resign with is calling the police /gov of corrupt acts

Laurenrose - 27 Jun 2017 14:59 - 78162 of 81564

my friend who lives local says those that sub let do not give a toss about those they sub let too and will never speak

Lammy was the MP who said after the vote to leave "this is madness it must be stopped" did not care that the people had voted .

cynic - 27 Jun 2017 17:24 - 78164 of 81564

if he has spouted as LR posts, then i'm very surprised he has not been taken firmly in hand by labour whips ....... lammy can't even claim parliamentary privilege as it was not said (i think) inside westminster

Stan - 27 Jun 2017 17:36 - 78165 of 81564

Winging Tory posters alert!

cynic - 27 Jun 2017 17:41 - 78166 of 81564

it matters not what political persuasion, for it would seem that this man lammy was making totally unfounded and scurrilous accusations against all sorts of people and authorities ..... reprehensible in the extreme

Stan - 27 Jun 2017 18:26 - 78167 of 81564

it matters not what political persuasion

Yes it does you're a confirmed "Con"artist voter/supporter.

Haystack - 27 Jun 2017 19:38 - 78168 of 81564

As many of us are.

Good that May won the election. She will probably go later this year. A new leader, possibly a caretaker, and it's business as usual.

Later on in a couple of years we may get a proper leader, a popular manifesto and Corbyn will be toast at the next GE it n 5 years time

cynic - 27 Jun 2017 19:52 - 78169 of 81564

so what stan? .... my complaint is against a specific individual (lammy) and his reprehensible and unsupported accusations, and it wouldn't have mattered what party pennant he chose to flaunt

Stan - 27 Jun 2017 19:56 - 78170 of 81564

Alf don't argue you stupid by...now where's that fine pic. of H/S's hero.

Stan - 27 Jun 2017 20:04 - 78171 of 81564

Just for H/S

MaxK - 27 Jun 2017 20:37 - 78172 of 81564

Jezza will be toast as soon as his followers (mostly stupid yoofs) realise the promised free stuff is a fantasy and wont happen.

Billions for this, billions for that...sounds great, until reality strikes.

Stan - 27 Jun 2017 20:46 - 78173 of 81564

...Hello another delusional soul from the dark ages )-:

There all out tonight.

Fred1new - 27 Jun 2017 21:01 - 78174 of 81564

Just billions as a bribe to the DUP.

What a bunch of self-serving ?????

cynic - 27 Jun 2017 21:04 - 78175 of 81564

stan - when you grow up, you may come to realise that there's no such thing as a free lunch, let alone free education, free child care, free housing, unrealistically high minimum wage for school-leavers, billions more for schools and hospitals and nurses and firemen and of course pensions
where do you think that money will come from?
tax the richest 5% even at 95%, and how much do you think you'll raise?
raise death duties from 40% to 65%? ..... will you or your children benefit?
who will want to bother to work to better themselves?

hahaha!
