THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Le Tour starts Saturday. Best sporting event of the year IMO. Those riders are as hard as nails.

cynic - 28 Jun 2017 18:22 - 78253 of 81564

bunch of nutters!
they should join us, for we take a gentle 30/50 daily jaunt (length depends on terrain) and have plenty of time to smell the sites and see the flowers and are not too knackered to enjoy a good dinner and a bevy or two

Fred1new - 28 Jun 2017 18:34 - 78254 of 81564

IT,

Thank you for posting that.

I took part in the Le Tour about 12 years ago.

It was a tremendous feat for me.

Enjoyed it tremendously.

Can Europe deliver on its existing policies and new priorities with a shrinking budget?,” it says. “If not, where should cuts be made and ambitions scaled back? Or should the gap be bridged, either via increasing contributions from the 27 member states, alternative sources of revenue, or a combination of the two, so the EU27 can do more together? Whatever the outcome, the level of political ambition must be aligned with the means.”
The EU’s budget in 2017 was €157.9bn. The European commission hopes to salvage some cash from the departing UK, by asking the British government to live up to commitments it made as a member, including funding the pensions of EU officials.

the uk was just a milking cow

Dil - 29 Jun 2017 08:54 - 78257 of 81564

The commission can feck off. They can sell our share of the EU assets and fund the pensions of UK citizens who have a pension from Brussels with that if they want.

Labour’s candidate for Mayor of London took part with an activist who has threatened “fire throughout the world”, a supporter of terror group Hamas, a preacher who backs an Islamic state and a Muslim leader accused of advocating attacks on the Royal Navy if it stopped arms being smuggled into Gaza.
Invitations said “all welcome” but made clear that women would be segregated at the door, stating: “Ladies’ entrance on Lessingham Avenue next to the snooker club.”
Also on the platform was a controversial Surrey vicar and conspiracy theorist who has claimed Israel could have been responsible for the terrorist attack on New York’s Twin Towers.

i missed this article and this person is now mayor of London he should be deported

how was this not reported on the news

Laurenrose - 29 Jun 2017 09:07 - 78260 of 81564

it now appears that the public no very little of what is going on in the uk
it looks like all important news is with held from the public eye

iturama - 29 Jun 2017 09:20 - 78261 of 81564

No worries Tanker. We have you to keep us all informed.

Stan - 29 Jun 2017 09:31 - 78262 of 81564

The establishment brainwashing machine has done a fantastic job... I feel blessed I have a mind of my own .

re - Also on the platform was a controversial Surrey vicar and conspiracy theorist who has claimed Israel could have been responsible for the terrorist attack on New York’s Twin Towers.

I was told that theory 6 month after it happened by a Nicaraguan Oil pastels painter, who use to make Exhibitions - Tel Aviv Museum of Art, I took it as not much sense, but it comes at who is going to benefit from the reconstruction and hate to the ones being accused.

Laurenrose - 29 Jun 2017 09:58 - 78264 of 81564

stan you do not have a brain , if you have why have you not answered my questions on the sub letters and their criminal acts , or are you just a coward to answer serious questions

Laurenrose - 29 Jun 2017 15:05 - 78265 of 81564

cynic , I have never borrowed never had a loan or mortgage . will they have a credit score on me , I looked at one company they wanted my details so did not bother I give my details to no one , thanks in advance

cynic - 29 Jun 2017 15:51 - 78266 of 81564

it is one of the daft things in modern life that if you have never borrowed it is likely you'll be deemed a bad risk because there's no credit history

depends why you need a credit rating, but your bank or accountant may be able to help
