Bunny's Beer Basement (BEER)

stockbunny - 30 Dec 2008 08:02

OK temporary accomodation for us ex-pats of Spacie's coffee house that is sadly now boarded up and in memory of Goldie's old pad the tearooms.

No fancy stuff, as this is temporary until we find a nice new place but it's warm down here with the fire and aga and I've organised a daily guinness, lager and wine delivery. There is a small kitchen in the corner and a few comfy cosy armchairs.

So feel free to take refuge when you need a break - self-service generally I'm afraid but when I can I'll rustle up a meal :>)

stockbunny - 11 Mar 2009 08:48 - 788 of 4886

But not ideally at this time of the day ;>)

kimoldfield - 11 Mar 2009 08:51 - 789 of 4886

But, but..................oh, well I suppose not!

stockbunny - 11 Mar 2009 09:16 - 790 of 4886

LOL - have a danish instead!

kimoldfield - 11 Mar 2009 11:36 - 791 of 4886

I enjoyed that danish! Glad I ate it before what has just happened, :o( summer is over already, well for 1 little swallow it is; bloody sparrow-hawk has just made off with it! I have to admire the skill of the darned thing, it is extremely agile; why can't it eat a danish like us though?!

stockbunny - 11 Mar 2009 13:16 - 792 of 4886

Yes you have to admire the speed and agility of the sparrow hawk but I know what you mean.

I've put some cooked mackeral and salad in the fridge if you get peckish as I've got a go out - gawd there's a nasty pun, unintentional I assure you!

kimoldfield - 11 Mar 2009 13:25 - 793 of 4886

Lol!

I'll have a quick scoff, then off myself, going to support our local garage by handing over some hard earned dosh; car service time, ie rip off time!

stockbunny - 11 Mar 2009 13:37 - 794 of 4886

Good luck and don't let 'em get away with anything :>)

kimoldfield - 11 Mar 2009 16:36 - 795 of 4886

Well, car serviced, wallet 200.41 lighter, not too bad really!

kimoldfield - 11 Mar 2009 18:01 - 796 of 4886

Sh*t end to the day, 2 old friends were killed in a road accident this morning, puts everything into perspective when something like that happens.

robertalexander - 12 Mar 2009 08:08 - 797 of 4886

mornin all,
Kim, sorry to hear of your loss.

Coffee is on, and fridge topped up with Guinness for those that need something stronger.
I have also bought lots of chocolate too just in case some nitwit [Dr. i think] gets his way to have extra tax stuck on the price. i dont eat it myself but but mrs. Alex does by the bucket load.

kimoldfield - 12 Mar 2009 08:41 - 798 of 4886

Thanks Alex.

I think I'll stick to the coffee today. Err, I'm stuck to the seat instead, what the......? Oh, it's a bar of chocolate!

robertalexander - 16 Mar 2009 10:50 - 799 of 4886

anyone got the kettle on this morning?

splat - 16 Mar 2009 11:12 - 800 of 4886

I know it may be a little early, but I am still on the champagne since Saturday's beautiful result at Old Trafford - is there any in this establishment - I'll swap a bottle for my shares in WLW and MDX.

kimoldfield - 16 Mar 2009 11:33 - 801 of 4886

Sounds like a good deal splat! There you are; one empty bottle for WLW and a half full one for MDX ;o)

stockbunny - 18 Mar 2009 07:22 - 802 of 4886

Morning Folks - been busy trying to secure the purchase of another warren for me and the bunny chaps, on prospective warren number 3 now having lost 2 others and keeping fingers crossed until it goes fully and finally through!
I tell you the property market currently is the biggest nightmere zone I have ever encountered you can't trust no one out there folks.

And now back in here where you can trust everyone (to drink your guinness LOL) I'll get the kettle on and the danish in the oven :>)

optomistic - 18 Mar 2009 08:33 - 803 of 4886

Morning Bunny, just tea for me please...not as I've problem with Guinness but 8.30 in the morning is just a little too early....for me :-)

kimoldfield - 18 Mar 2009 08:47 - 804 of 4886

Morning all. Coffee and Danish for me please Bunny; I'll dive into the Guinness later!

I'll be helping my in-laws move house (voluntarily!) this weekend, it has been a busy few weeks for them and the move will be very poignant; their new house is just around the corner from their lifelong friends' house - they both died last week- so they have very mixed feelings about it now. Funeral is this afternoon :o(

stockbunny - 18 Mar 2009 10:56 - 805 of 4886

Morning :>)
Sorry to hear that Kim, hopefully they will have lots of happy memories to keep with them.

Coffee and danish for you Kim and a tea and danish for Opto when he gets back!

kimoldfield - 18 Mar 2009 11:21 - 806 of 4886

Thanks Bunny.

stockbunny - 18 Mar 2009 12:18 - 807 of 4886
