Harlosh - 15 May 2007 10:03 - 7891 of 11056

I'm looking at 9690 area if it breaks 9760 and 9750

Which I think it will.

hilary - 15 May 2007 10:08 - 7892 of 11056

I agree, Harlosh. I see no reason whatsoever to buy it right now.

goforit - 15 May 2007 10:44 - 7893 of 11056

short on usd/cad which has dropped nicely from last night. just had a look at the gbp/cad!

MightyMicro - 15 May 2007 10:52 - 7894 of 11056

GBP/CAD -- I assume that's the Thompson/Reuters effect . . .

goforit - 15 May 2007 11:29 - 7895 of 11056

goforit - 15 May 2007 11:57 - 7896 of 11056

That feels better! divergence forming on the 4 hrly chart!

Harlosh - 15 May 2007 12:21 - 7897 of 11056

Not convinced by the break below 50 so taken profit ahead of US figures and will look long around 9800

foale - 15 May 2007 14:26 - 7898 of 11056

Last hours price action probably a good short entry in retrospect...

goforit - 15 May 2007 14:54 - 7899 of 11056

Unfortunately, got to go to a barbeque. we've got a big 50th party this wkend and the band, equipment and a few old friends arrived late last night.

Stops in place, catch you tomorrow

Seymour Clearly - 15 May 2007 16:12 - 7900 of 11056

Just closed a long +53. That'll do for now, see what tomorrow brings :-)

foale - 15 May 2007 16:35 - 7901 of 11056

stopped out of short while out...just as well

Harlosh - 15 May 2007 17:12 - 7902 of 11056

122 pips for me today but think Cable has further to go so holding for the time being.

cynic - 15 May 2007 20:35 - 7903 of 11056

we think $ will weaken again, so sold for June at 1.9791 as anticipate 2.0000 will be seen again before then

hilary - 16 May 2007 08:30 - 7904 of 11056

Surely the greenback is only just starting the turn up on the dailies, cynic. The retracement these last couple of days has only seen it come back to its moving averages and all the indicators are pointing towards it strengthening during the summer quarter.

Cable looks a long again first thing this morning, but all eyes on the inflation report.

mg - 16 May 2007 09:18 - 7905 of 11056

Always like the contrarian path so short from 19870 - with a stop at entry - just in case :(

To be honest I reckon you're right Hilary - the $ looks as if it is due a correction, after checking out it's MA - but I'm probably a bit previous. You know my tendency for premature evaluation :)

MightyMicro - 16 May 2007 10:06 - 7906 of 11056

mg: :)

hilary - 16 May 2007 10:38 - 7907 of 11056

BoE Inflation Report

chocolat - 16 May 2007 11:00 - 7908 of 11056

And here's Hils's upside down ;)

hilary - 16 May 2007 11:22 - 7909 of 11056

Can you do upside-down cakes as well, Choccy?

:o)
