Dont believe in buying a stock on takeover rumours. More trouble than its worth as more often than not its sheer rubbish and then SP falls away when rumour falls away.

you're right sticky .... buying on t/o rumour is for muppets only .... indeed, even when an offer appears, the actuality is often never realised .... meanwhile, sp has recovered some of yesterday's lost ground - though i shall stay on the sidelines at least for now

I was an execution only client of a large stockbroking co,they were giving me loads of advice and to cut a long story short I lost £150k.
Ombudsman got involved,not much help.
2 of the brokers that were giving advice at the time were in IVA,s
They have offered a lo-settlement offer,any thoughts on moving forward etc?

Gaps have been filled , but chart still firmly in uptrend. Head says sell, heart says hold. (Not keen on the sell half option). Think I may try & squeeze another 10p out of it and then chuck in the towel, but will definitely be out before may. Broker targets all over the place, so no help there!
