OOOO I know ..... lets offer another fantastic Rugby League player stupid money to come and make a dickhead of himself trying to prop a nation up with more players to choose from than the rest of the world put together to try and make a go of our non existent chance of getting out of group at the rugby world cup.
ZZZZZ ... dream on boys , we just cut better players from our squad than you've seen in a decade , Hibbard , Hook , Phillips etc etc.
England kick out Capriani for being too exciting !

Yep I think they did.
Ended Ireland's 9 game unbeaten record at home apparently , were awesome in defence but didn't wan't to show their hand going forward and even rested our captain.
Hows your lot doing ?
26th .... leave your phones at home.

Watched England destroy Ireland for the first 15 minutes and almost got worried but the next 65 minutes showed it was Ireland under performing and not anything England did to give that impression.
Was quietly optimistic after the game until ... two of our biggest assets got stretchered off both on oxygen during our waste of time game against Italy.
All down to the money grabbing arseholes at the WRU imo. We don't need "warm up" games before the six nations and we only picked a proper team in one out of three of these friendly games and end up losing one and possibly two of our key players.
Really peed off.

FIVE FECKING POINTS FOR THAT PILE OF SHITE !!!!
You wouldn't have made boot camp on X-Factor or got past the first vote on Strictly Come Dancing with that performance.
That was embarrassing , no wonder the Scots want independence even they ain't that bad.

Strange I always thought Fiji was in the Southern Hemisphere. Well there you go you learn something new every day.
5 points in the bag and upset the Welsh as well. Good days work

Fiji have never beaten any decent 6 nations country's team ....

Gausie.
I am learning so much from this thread. Please help me out as being old the memory is not what it was. Do I infer from your post that they have beaten a 6 nations team? Surely not, you must be wrong I had assumed from the posts of the Rugby experts here that England played badly and still strolled to a thumping win.
Please clarify. I am sure we will all be fascinated to know.

I'm nothing if not an educator - please, let me take you back to a rugby world cup in a galaxy not too far away - and not too long ago - the RWC before last.
Gareth Jenkins was the man in charge of a team that the welsh could really get behind, And boy did they get behind, particularly in their 'match' against Fiji - where the south sea islanders put 38 points past them.
The full story is told in excrutiating detail
here.

Many thanks. I am amazed things like that can happen to such an all conquering Rugby Nation, they must have been gutted.
Anyway mustn't linger too much in the past. I promised myself, in 2003, not to do that.

Yes - important not to crow about past wins of world championships such as the rugby world cup or the soccer world cup.
Dil is also a subscriber to this view of gentlemanly acceptance of world sporting domination. After all, I've never heard him boast about Lynne Davies' 1966 Olympic long jump gold medal for Wales. Which, after all, was the very pinnacle of welsh sporting achievement - unless, of course, you include Terry Griffiths in the snooker.

Anyway back to current events. Whatever the result the Japs are putting up a storming performance against the Springboks. They just wont lie down.
