Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Was Churchill a good painter? ...
---
From The Producers:
Franz Liebekind: You know, not many people knew it, but the Fuhrer was a terrific dancer.
Max: Really, I never dreamed that...
Franz Liebekind: That is because that you were taken in by that verdammte Allied propaganda! Such filthy lies! They told lies! But nobody ever said a bad word about Winston Churchill, did they? No! 'Win with Winnie!' Churchill! With his cigars. With his brandy. And his rotten painting, rotten! Hitler - there was a painter! He could paint an entire apartment in one afternoon! Two Coats! Churchill. He couldn't even say 'Nazi'. He would say 'Noooo-zeeehz, Nooooooooooooo-zeeehz!' It wasn't Noses! It was Nazis! Churchill!...Let me tell you this! And you're hearing this straight from the horse. Hitler was better looking than Churchill. He was a better dresser than Churchill. He had more hair! He told funnier jokes! And he could dance the pants off of Churchill!...Churchill!
Cheers,
KidA

Churchill about Labour PM Clement Attlee ( you could very well substitute the aspiring PM Corbyn today)
"A modest man, who has much to be modest about".

Churchill spoke many more pithy aphorisms
in fact, he is unfair to Attlee, for he did much as PM, even if one might disagree with many - nationalisation in particular
Corbyn is not in the same league as Attlee, but the following may well happen to him .....
After Labour's defeat in the general election of 1951, Attlee's effectiveness dramatically declined, his authority broken by factional fighting within the party.

The name calling and general muck spreading in JC's direction by the usual right wing suspects, the media of course in general and unintelligent bods is to be expected to some degree.
Thankfully more people are beginning to tire of such repetitive tripe.

back to front ...... never a day goes by without your bosom buddy fred posting his left-wing biased cartoons and of course making tiresomely snide and repetitive comment about the tory party and indeed anyone who does not support his (false) messiah corbyn

As you well know that is assuredly not true.

surely you're not trying to claim that your bosom buddy posts balanced views?
even he admits he does not and has neither wish nor intent to do so

I wish you wouldn’t do that cynic. I now have this disturbing mental image of Stan suckling on the Fred teat.

That'll be all that's left of Labour in the commons when the sensible ones leave in the next few weeks.

T. May.
Has she been given a vote of confidence?
Those who voted for her have just been released from the mental wards.
Shitorama, Manuella and Tini were amongst them. Caps in hand hoping for handouts.
Dil is sweeping up!

Shitorama? Shitorama? What have I done to upset you, Fred? That’s what you get when you try to have a civil conversation with a cantankerous old man. Care workers suffer the same type of abuse.
You’re going to miss us next week. What’ll you do then? Eh?
I suppose you could always go on a charabang to Blackpool with your feeble minded friend and study the Social Anthropology of the natives. Perhaps write a joint thesis on the cultural significance of the ritual of the damp hotdog bun, kiss me quick hat and the stick of rock.

The terrorists parents aren't very nice either , baby would be better off being adopted and the rest of its family being locked up.

The danger of defeating Daesh, Isis or whatever you call them is that they can quickly change their colours and become normal citizens for awhile whilst preparing terrorist attacks...….in Europe or elsewhere...no more caliphate, but are they finished ?....I doubt it.....we must be on our guards......

Someone has commented on one news outlet that Cardiff City should arrange her flight home.
