Biofuels Corporation. (BFC)

wilbs - 07 Jul 2004 19:47

The main activity of Biofuels is the large scale production and exploitation of biodiesel and glycerine following the construction and commissioning of the initial plant.

Biodiesel is produced from vegetable oils and, as an environmentally friendly product, can make a significant contribution towards reducing green house gases and meeting Kyoto targets.

Jimmy, I agree, I don't think Barclays would pull the plug now - it was meant tongue-in-cheek, but yet again BFC have failed to meet their deadline, and Barclays would be within their rights to do that...

simonpaynton - 01 Mar 2006 12:31 - 829 of 1184

If people thought they where just guna flick a switch and be at 100% production then they are stupid, I am sure it will take many months to get upto 100%. Patients is not a strong point of the markets I guess.

Tonker - 01 Mar 2006 12:33 - 830 of 1184

I'm out sold 145p... will buy back in at 134p or 75p two strong resistance zones... if it falls under 134p feel it will really milk bomb

tonewood - 01 Mar 2006 12:40 - 831 of 1184

Well said simonpaynton, and what an excellent opportunity to buy @ 140 ish.

hlyeo98 - 01 Mar 2006 14:22 - 832 of 1184

There are not so much selling, sells almost equals buys.

jimmy b - 01 Mar 2006 14:57 - 833 of 1184

Simon ,its not being impatient ,its the fact that they are a year off schedule ,plus they keep missing deadlines and are seriously in debt ,on top of that they mislead investors ,,so people here are not as stupid as you think.

Kivver - 01 Mar 2006 15:37 - 834 of 1184

i might be stupid because i bought recently. But im in and im staying in, just like i did when there was lots of gloom and doom around asoc (asc) (and people were selling in their droves) and look at their rebound!! Hope the same can happen here.

Frampton - 01 Mar 2006 16:30 - 835 of 1184

I would imagine there would be a big bounce at some point, Kivver, this share always overshoots dramatically in both directions. Question is, what price will it bounce from?

Tonker - 02 Mar 2006 08:45 - 836 of 1184

only a small drop today so far... maybe i should have stayed in. Time will tell

Kivver - 02 Mar 2006 12:47 - 837 of 1184

im stiil in tonker, and bought high (too high it seems) interesting to see how we both get on.

Tonker - 02 Mar 2006 12:54 - 838 of 1184

Kivver, I am looking to rebuy, but feel there is still more downward movement... will buy back in at 134p ( strong resistance zone) or if it falls under this level will wait untill under 100p... get in on the rebound

Tonker - 02 Mar 2006 12:56 - 839 of 1184

D1 oils doing well today... a good alternative

Tonker - 02 Mar 2006 18:11 - 840 of 1184

Kivver, it is nice to wait for the rebound but feel it might be benefitial to sell and rebuy later... if it falls below 134p you will see... but there might be a rebound at 134p and holding will have been a wise move. this investing lark can be so fustrating.... A question Kivver: Why did you pick BFC? This can be a question to anyone.....

Kivver - 02 Mar 2006 19:38 - 841 of 1184

Why did i buy????? we know we need altertantive fuels, afterall thousands are already pouring cooking oil into their diesel cars. Ive been watching the price go up and then back down after the bad news. It then start to rise quite sharply... i dont know tonker, i suppose it had good momentum behind it. WRONG!!! lol. Long term its got to be good thing otherwise its an awfull waste of money. Alternative power and fuel is the future but when it takes off. im not sure. Lots of good tips given in the IC in their new years special. (bfc not being one of them, lol)

jimmy b - 02 Mar 2006 23:38 - 842 of 1184

Kivver your right this should be good , if they can get going and pay back their debt ,this will be a good long play ,,but right now there are lots of if's and but's. Good luck.

Tonker - 03 Mar 2006 08:35 - 843 of 1184

Kivver, am glad you have bought on ethical grounds.... I have found that renewables have been very good from an investment point of view... Also because I own and run a wholefood shop I can talk to customers about what i am doing without feeling ashamed (i.e shares in British Energy!!!)... I am keeping a keen eye on these shares, I will be buying back in hopefully soon, but hopefully at a cheap price... Less than 100p

Tonker - 03 Mar 2006 08:40 - 844 of 1184

Well still holding level at the mo... more buys than sells, but close to resistance zone, need to keep a keen eye on price could break either way

Tonker - 03 Mar 2006 10:23 - 845 of 1184

Dam price has broken up... still going to wait and see though... easily fall again

hlyeo98 - 03 Mar 2006 17:46 - 846 of 1184

next target - 180p

Tonker - 06 Mar 2006 10:37 - 847 of 1184

lost a lot of ground on early gains.... more sells than buys
