Like so many of these small oil companies over rated under achievers sefton and Cambrian oil and gas. Leg it dump now put your cash else where.

cynic - 21 Nov 2006 15:39 - 844 of 1049

wish i had not been so prescient this morning ...... condolences to holders

mcmahons - 21 Nov 2006 15:42 - 845 of 1049

Understand what you mean about the small oilers but this has major up left potential I will be topping up certainly not dumping !

seawallwalker - 21 Nov 2006 15:52 - 846 of 1049

Glad this was one I ditched last week.

Bad luck to those who remain.

cynic, your premonition this morning is quite disturbing.

What are this weeks lottery numbers please, for Wednesday?

smiler o - 21 Nov 2006 15:58 - 847 of 1049

sww dont right them off just yet !! I still hold at 1.10 and look at the sp after the RNS , a lot more risk now for sure but we will see !

skyhigh - 21 Nov 2006 16:31 - 848 of 1049

Grim...but the sp is now only back to where it was a few weeks ago.. .I'm staying in for better for worse and all that... I went in this for as a high risk punt... so not ditching now... could be so much different in a couple of yrs time! or it go bust ! who knows ? grim but exciting !

smiler o - 21 Nov 2006 17:09 - 849 of 1049

looks like 4 MM x 250k buys after closing ??

seawallwalker - 21 Nov 2006 19:14 - 850 of 1049

smilero - I am not wrting them off, just in my p/f.

A bit of a disagreement on the board saw Ivan go, and here we are now with this a short time after.

Did he see this coming?

smiler o - 21 Nov 2006 20:20 - 851 of 1049

sure he did and has left a pile of ? behind him :) will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow

Rutherford - 21 Nov 2006 22:08 - 853 of 1049

smiler o : Good post.
IFC is also working closely with Kappa to help the company develop best practices in corporate governance, environmental and social management systems.

Maybe they havent started that course yet!

soul traders - 22 Nov 2006 11:22 - 854 of 1049

Morning peeps!

SP is crawling back into positive territory this a.m:

BLR Bid: 1p Offer: 1.2p Change: 0.025

I remember well that SBE got sh4fted by one of its partners; the stock even got suspended but was still a more than worthwhile hold for anyone with the guts to hang on. Monterey will make up for the current issues, IMO, and hopefully the Kappa stuff will be sorted out in gentlemanly fashion.

seawallwalker - 22 Nov 2006 12:25 - 855 of 1049

A better result this morning.

This will blow over imo.

skyhigh - 22 Nov 2006 13:27 - 856 of 1049

Still grim though isn't it ?

laurie squash - 22 Nov 2006 14:15 - 857 of 1049

BLR announced it early on and have taken strong actions, my only worry is the apparant lack of due communication leading to the mess.

explosive - 23 Nov 2006 18:53 - 858 of 1049

What evers going on up 10% today!! Seams the market doesn't share the BBs concerns. Personally I would be worried if BLR hadn't taken action!!

soul traders - 29 Nov 2006 16:01 - 859 of 1049

SP making a stab at recovery today: BLR Bid: 0.95p Offer: 1.2p Change: 0.075

FWIW I halved my holding at 1p on Monday and put the proceeds into GTL, as a risk-spreading measure. I might not have done so if things in the Colombia JV hadn't turned out to be so iffy, but remain positive about my remaining holding.

Rutherford - 29 Nov 2006 23:31 - 860 of 1049

Seems BLR and Kappa are now in discussion according to another BB.
Looking for Monterey results in the next few days.
All looking better than last week after the RNS.
Carrizo (partner in Monterey) hit 5 year high tonight on Nasdaq.

Rutherford - 30 Nov 2006 10:22 - 861 of 1049

Up 16% today !

soul traders - 30 Nov 2006 11:26 - 862 of 1049

BLR Bid: 1.1p Offer: 1.3p Change: 0.125

It's Murphy's law, Ruthers - both the stocks I sold over the last few days as a precautionary measure are now going through the roof.

Thanks for your update.
