Referendum : to be in Europe or not to be ?, that is the question ! (REF)

required field - 03 Feb 2016 10:00

Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

Fred1new - 11 Jan 2018 11:55 - 8453 of 12628

Another awe-inspiring speech of platitudes by Theresa Speech to-day, while petulant David Davis is scolded by Brussels and "hoisted with his own and Brexiters' petard".

What a party.

Dil, you should become a paid-up member of it.

Dil - 11 Jan 2018 15:32 - 8454 of 12628

I was once. There was only one club on Barry Island and it was a Conservative Club. You had to swear your allegiance to the party when you became a member. Overwhelming majority of the club were Labour voters including me.

I won the Christmas crib tournament in 1987 and haven't been back to defend my title since.

Fred1new - 11 Jan 2018 15:43 - 8456 of 12628

Jesus wouldn't let you in!

Dil - 11 Jan 2018 15:52 - 8457 of 12628

Nah he wasn't a member , I would have remembered him if he was.

Fred1new - 11 Jan 2018 19:11 - 8458 of 12628

8-)

Wow is that a smile from Freda or a belch? Wonders will never cease!

KidA - 12 Jan 2018 11:53 - 8460 of 12628

Jesus is injured but when fit he is nailed on, has a decent cross.

Fred1new - 12 Jan 2018 11:54 - 8461 of 12628

For the Neo-cons and Kippers.

jimmy b - 12 Jan 2018 13:40 - 8462 of 12628

KING NIGEL !!!!!!

ExecLine - 12 Jan 2018 14:14 - 8463 of 12628

By God! Isn't he extremely good looking?

It's a little bit like looking in the mirror, IMHO.

hilary - 12 Jan 2018 14:38 - 8464 of 12628

He is seriously creepy looking, Doc! He dresses like a spiv, and I'd even go so far as to say he looks like a paedophile - maybe he should get a job in panto as the child catcher from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang?

jimmy b - 12 Jan 2018 14:58 - 8465 of 12628

I doubt he would like you either hilary !

MaxK - 12 Jan 2018 15:00 - 8466 of 12628

Now now hilly, if theres one thing Farage is not, it's a paedo...indeed there cant be much on him at all.

Those fearless newshounds, not to mention The €U, would have dug up anything they could use by now.

ExecLine - 12 Jan 2018 15:02 - 8467 of 12628

What utter rubbish, hilary!

Here's my opinion of the man pictured in the photograph.

1. Very kissable cheeks (wifey's comment, not mine)
2. Holds a cigar well.
3. Excellent choice of a shirt collar.
4. Hand stitched suit.
4. Knots his tie perfectly.
5. Well manicured fingers.
6. Neatly groomed, perfect length hair.
7. Humorous and thoughtful type of smile.
8. Overall, a very likeable and very classy guy.

Can looks be deceptive? Well, yes, of course they can. But I'm not particularly interested in any of them, really.

I've also heard this man speak and I do like what he has to say and how he says it. Particularly so, when he is rabbiting on about the negatives of the EU.

ExecLine - 12 Jan 2018 15:04 - 8468 of 12628

And 'Oh dear!'.

I've also marked you down a fair bit, hilary, for making such bloody silly, extremely nasty and stupidly biased comments.

hilary - 12 Jan 2018 15:20 - 8469 of 12628

You can mark me down all you like, Doc. That's your prerogative, and you're welcome to idolise him. It's not going to change my view, however, that Farage is exceptionally creepy-looking, and an overall vile man.

In the meantime, I suggest you wheel Lady Proc down to Specsavers pdq to get her eyes tested. If she thinks Farage's cheeks are kissable, she probably needs a new prescription.

iturama - 12 Jan 2018 15:21 - 8470 of 12628

Don't take it to heart XL. Hilary actually went all weak at the knees. Just doesn't want to admit it. :)
Nigel for James Bond? Better than that Night Manager bloke.
Must be late Friday afternoon..

jimmy b - 12 Jan 2018 15:23 - 8471 of 12628

Can't think what would make someone call Farage vile ,what on earth has he ever done to be called vile .

hilary - 12 Jan 2018 15:31 - 8472 of 12628

Well he's lied to you big time for a start, Jimbo. And what's worse is that you've believed his lies.
