How would you like to trade a market where you get large regular price swings every 10 minutes in the afternoon, seven days a week. A
market where all prices are set purely by supply and demand, few transaction costs, no middle men and you only pay commission if you win? Where you can freely act as a market maker and where you have direct market access and where you can create a spread for others to take?
Betfair has revolutionised the betting market and created an open platform for exchanging risk on sports events. This market is now viewed much more like a traditional financial risk market than an old fashioned betting market. Smart users have realised that there are huge opportunities on Betfair because they can buy and sell risk in much the same way they would in a normal financial market but without the burden of cost or the restricted access that is usually associated with traditional financial markets.

Just back from watching the game at friends. What a cracker of a game!!
Hard luck to Fundy and other Arsenal fans.
Just as well I didn't have a punt on the game as I don't think I could have handled it.
Expected a few goals but not 6!!

Anyone on the footy tonight? Chelsea look pretty good odds considering their record although they are away of course.

Still in town this week so I can only watch from afar. Chelsea odds do look good for some action. Next goal odds are pretty wide on Blackburn so you could cover there if you are nervous.

I assume it will be a very slow deterioration in Chelsea's odds now Scrip. Do you agree?

Yes, Don't try and mess with it till later in the match else you will have to wait for ages and it's not worth the risk with only 22% on the table.

ROFLMAO, Cricket has just ended in a dead heat. Level scores on the last ball. Nearly 7m traded a lot on South Africa at short odds.

'Only' 22%. I like it. Anyone not yet on Betfair reading that comment should be amazed.

Just going through Scripts slides on probabilitytheory.info, now things are alot clearer. Just greened up on the Chelsea game as a consequence.
