Hi snoball.

Just had to go lube the throat once more as US closed.

jeffmack - 28 Jun 2004 21:08 - 8531 of 23498

Well done henman

dotel - 28 Jun 2004 21:14 - 8532 of 23498

Yes indeed - didn't think he'd do it. A bit early for me to be here, but I'll have a glass of whatever's going please, to keep me going..

snoball - 28 Jun 2004 21:15 - 8533 of 23498

Did he win?
I can never watch to the end.
It's bad for my heart.

dotel - 28 Jun 2004 21:17 - 8534 of 23498

I was busy burning the rice.
Oh, the excitement.

daves dazzlers - 28 Jun 2004 21:26 - 8535 of 23498

he won in the end , but for me he just does not no how to kill people off in 1.
i hope he goes all the way ,as he is my first ever tennis bet 10/1 any chance.

snoball - 28 Jun 2004 21:30 - 8536 of 23498

I know what you mean DD.
He just doesn't have the killer instinct.
He's not really a champion.

I wasn't impressed by the line judges today.
Nor was Phillipoussis by the sound of his swearing.

tsk, tsk!!

jeffmack - 28 Jun 2004 21:30 - 8537 of 23498

Nice to see him at least make semi's

Big Al - 28 Jun 2004 21:31 - 8538 of 23498

Henman - yet another Brit tennis nearly man. Waste of space.

Now, where's my glass? ;-)

snoball - 28 Jun 2004 21:32 - 8539 of 23498

LOL! I've just read the Bistro special menu.

jeffmack - 28 Jun 2004 21:43 - 8540 of 23498

Big Al
Compared to all those great Scottish tennis players!

little willie - 28 Jun 2004 22:37 - 8541 of 23498

Touchy Jeffers?, loyal to the end mate, good for you but he's a bit wimpish eh?
As for jocks playing tennis, larf or what; can you imagine where they keep there spare balls? Sporrans or one of those things that Sanchez used to have around her chuff!!
Shouldn't knock Timmy tho as our 'Ginny' actually won the thing in Jubilee year [absolutely positive that that was a fix!].

Anyway, a tireing day, gorgeous weather, golf all morning, sorting out probs on the new house all afternoon; getting to be a set pattern, be glad when its finished, about four weeks+

Dotel...try wood or coal, far cheaper in the long run...

STORMCALLER - 28 Jun 2004 23:14 - 8542 of 23498

Excellent, lot busier than last night, probably no food left though, bugger.
Still I'll have a guinness anyway. Must have earned it, got here early. No point staying home, computer dead, anyone know a good virus killer?
Always forget, sorry, evening all

STORMCALLER - 28 Jun 2004 23:46 - 8543 of 23498

Must have another, drown my sorrows. maybe then I'll have the courage to attend the funeral.

STORMCALLER - 29 Jun 2004 00:11 - 8544 of 23498

Didn't seem to work, think I'll go home to cry, undignified in public....

MightyMicro - 29 Jun 2004 00:47 - 8545 of 23498

Evenin'/Mornin' all.

I'm a bit disappointed in the old place. While there's a fine selection in Gianni's Beer Bar, where's the Wine List? I'm sure many here could contribute to such an enterprise.

I'd be happy to kick off with adding a few Californians.

Mumm Napa Blanc de Noirs Vintage 1996 ('natch) for the fizzy stuff
Sterling Vinyards Three Palms Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon (purple velvet!!)
And, of course, Ridge Vineyard's Cabernet, from their ramshackle winery high in the hills above Palo Alto.

dotel - 29 Jun 2004 00:49 - 8546 of 23498

How could I resist, MM?

Big Al - 29 Jun 2004 07:27 - 8547 of 23498

jeffmack - LOL

daves dazzlers - 29 Jun 2004 14:24 - 8548 of 23498

optomistic - 29 Jun 2004 15:04 - 8549 of 23498
