Thought I'd start a football blog, we might keep this going until 2010.....England doing well....did not see the match or even the goals....I'd like Michael owen back in the squad though....and I think Peter Crouch would make a very good substitute...remember against Argentina in Geneva a few years ago....with Michael Owen and some very good movements on and off the ball...they caused havoc.....did see Scotland's missed chance....that could be very costly losing those 2 points !.

Amazing Switzerland !....Spain will have a devlish job to finish top of the group now, what with the Chileans winning as well....the Spaniards could bump into the Brazilians in the next round....I think that to qualify : Ivory Coast will have to take a point off Brazil.....if the USA beat Slovenia, then England will need to score more goals than them......If we do miss the Germans, I bet that they get to the final somehow....the competition is opening up in front of them !.

The USA can get 7 points in total, so can we....unless the slovenes get at least a point against the americans....let's hope that's a draw, then we could enjoy the match aagainst Algeria more.....the argies are 2 up at the moment....very good up front them...not so good at the back...
