Why is the individual store profit so important? Surely the overall profitability or lack of is the most important factor. If COH management have anything about them they will have identified non-profitable outlets and will either address the issue or axe.
Do WH Smiths or Tescos etc provide individual store breakdowns - No.
This is just a smokescreen in order to 'bash' COH in the same way you ramp MLR.
I can understand the frustration of genuine holders when faced with the constant stream of crap that you post.

On the contrary Sir, if you were familar with investgative stock research you would know where I am heading!
However you are getting close.
COH has long standing poor performing outlets, and far from what you claim have neither taken action to address thes issues or AXE them.
But then why should they when there is so much easy shareholders funds available to prop them up.
Ok my game is up!
What I wish to estbalish is the quality of the COH management, and in order to start to do so I need the ratio of COH paying coffee outlets and those loss making outlets.
Anyone want to help me with this quest, seeing as I like to be spoon fed.
Once a COH shareholder has provided me with these figures all will become crystal clear.
Have a really nice day.
PS Mr Holden, if Sir it is indeed cr%p that I post then surely that should not be a cause for concern, just a need for toilet paper.
Also kindly define what you mean by the word "RAMP"

The quality of COH management is shown in the growth of the company and it's share price which so far have been fine. Now the profit of each individual store is irrelevant it is the overall portfolio that counts. If there are too many unprofitable stores the overall figures show a weakening performance and so far this has not happened.Asking for profit by store is pointless no company produces that type of figure. You may as well ask what did they make on Wednesdy in a store in Latvia. So are you interested in the average figures,I can help you understand the accounts .It's not too difficult and really helps you to make better decisions.

Hardly old chap I am headed to show you all--once and for all that this is a poor management in action, who have opened and kept open loss making stores as to close them would cause so many problems.
Firstly they paid too much for them.
And secondly to close them in such a short time period would be a loss of business confidence.
Empik has the lenght and breadth on COH and it not my fault that you can not see that.
Since I sarted posting here in respnse to AdieH blantant ramping of this share it has gone the only way it can.
Sure Mr Worthington has done a good marketing job that has influence the SP, but that has to be supported and its not the sare price is now reacting and today its down just as I said it would be,
IT HAS TO FALL AS THERE IS NOTHING TO HOLD IT UP---JUST WATCH.
CYNIC
I REGRET BEING A PAIN IN THE BUTT, BUT I DID SAY AGES AGO TO LET THE SP DO THE TALKING!
BUT THEY WERE NOT CONTENT AT THAT AS ITS BEEN TELLING THEN SINCE ITS IS DOWNER----THEIR POSTS NOW ARE JUST RED HERRINGS.

I think it would be fair to point out that your constant references to MLR on this thread constitute ramping and that your long repetitve negative posts on COH constitute bashing.
But, whatever, just adding a little grist to the mill :)

Yes you are right Mr Holden perfectly right.
I am indeed bashing COH.
I think its an opportunist company that is taking too much off its loyal shareholders and its going to crash.
That is my honest opinion and the SP tends to support it.
You see for despite all the news the SP is still being gravitated toward the 20s
-------------------------------------------------------------------
MLR, how can you posibly ramp up a company than has given its shareholders almost 100% sustainable growth in less than a year.
How can you ramp a company that has just done a cracking deal which has seen its profits rise?
How can you ramp a company that has first class products, top quality management, well respected international markets and some of the most highly respected associates in the business--------How can you ramp such a company?----you tell me please.
I think the company speaks for itself, I just make a few fully justified attention drawing comments being the sharholder and supporter that I am as like a little jam on all tasty things.
How many shareholders invite other people to find a fault with their particular share and then further ask them to come on this BB knock it.( you wont find a lot of that on any BB, where people are unjustly protective of their investment and immediately knock anyone who has a bad word or perhaps even an innocent question)
I can, and I did and so far there are no replies as anyone with any understanding of these things can see a real solid company and a massive upside.
MLR WILL STAND BOLDLY ON ITS MERITSI
MLR is a millionaire maker.
COH, well perhaps that too could make you a nillionaire, its all your choice.
But time will tell-- as it always does.

So to sumarise where we are 10B.
You say the price is going to drop but you have provided no figures to back up your claim.Indeed you say you would look a fool if you tried ! I have tried to help you understand the accounts and help you with your difficulties and eventually you pick on a figure you that no company provides and isn't necessary and say that figure is your ' proof '.Do you understand what an average means,do you want help with that as well ? Strange call to say ' I don't know what the figure is but it is the corner stone of my arguement.' Before we move on are there any more figures that you have no idea about but back up your beliefs ?
O/T If your analysis is so weak why should anyone look at another company you're promoting. If you cannot provide figures you are enticing people to do no more than take pot luck. You may get lucky once or twice based on others analysis but long term you will lose money.

Yes of course you are right its all pot luck and I know nothing so I just come along and guess the SP will fall.
No bad is it.
And yes I need help as I cant read the COH accounts so please continue to do so.
I really know nothing about COH what so ever.
But what I do know is that based on a family member having a few fast food franchises is that if they do not make the magic 1000 pounds a week nett then they can not get any quality franchisors interested in investing .
How COH investors seem quite content to throw their money into COH' coffers unquestioning is beyond me and I guess they must still be in a fantasy heaven.
There is good reason why COH has not made any profit since its conception and that is that its all wrong...Empik thought so and walked and they are there on the ground.
To me it looks like Mr Worhting failed in the UK, then took as much as he could, and went to Poland, then after a few years there and a mountain of debt in high interest bearing notes as he was only buying leases and bank perfer freeholds, then came back for more money to pay then off and the shareholders gave it to him. At that time COH had not made a profit, it was all a gamble.
But then I know nothing.
According you COH shareholders I am a cretin, a lying towrag and whatever else you like to say or call me.
So with all that done a dusted. I know suggest that we leave the SP do both the talking and proving.
Frankly now I have lost interest in COH, although that said its a lucky company to have such blind loyal shareholders. But I am not interest in you lot.
Its the uninitiated newcomers I feel a pity for, like those who listened to the incessant ramping and bought in a 50p and there were loads of them
Those buying in over 40p are in for a tough time as the competition is coming and growing.
Those buying in around 50p have my condolences
Indigenous local and Turkish coffee chains are enetering the market place. Starbucks, CFE and many more will be there soon. COH with its few outlets will struggle to make ends meet.
My opinion is that its a loser.
If I am wrong then I am wrong.
However, if I am right press button B to try to get back what money you can.
Its darts tonight, have fun and dont worry to much, I will and I dont.

I've no idea whether 1000 / wk net is good or bad.Is this a UK figure or are your family in Poland. What is a reasonable figure for Poland ? Do you have any figures for Polish stores. If not your figures are meaningless.

For you cynic,
Here are some figures for gross margin.GM as a percentage sales has increased year on year from 04 - 19.8%,21.4%,22.8% and at H1 24.2% COH take raw materials but also other shop costs as variable costs eg labour.Sales / established store are around 200k.As volumes increase you do not necessarily have to increase staff as to a point they just serve more cups / employee. So as volumes increase the GM should increase as the labour costs will not increase proportionately. Also as volumes increase their buyers should be able to get a better price.COH said sales for this financial year will be 10.2m and sales are set to increase 50% in the coming year. i.e. 15.3m sales next year.IF the GM continues its improvement with volume next year they could see 25.6% GM. RW has said he has 25% as a target. So GM for 2007 should be 2.4m and for 2008 3.9m.
