Referendum : to be in Europe or not to be ?, that is the question ! (REF)

required field - 03 Feb 2016 10:00

Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

Dil - 02 Oct 2018 23:02 - 9549 of 12628

There won't be a second referendum and we will leave the eu in 178 days time.

Fred , where are all the leave voters that were lied to ?

Only bloody idiots who claim they didn't know what they were voting for and were lied to are remoaners and as they lost anyway , who cares ?

Tick tock.

European Parliament Cuts EUR 70 million aid to Turkey , maybe the message is getting to them at last .

Clocktower - 03 Oct 2018 08:50 - 9551 of 12628

Did Turkey use that aid to buy more weapons from the EU? Madness giving them any aid at all.

Fred1new - 03 Oct 2018 08:50 - 9552 of 12628

The Future with Boris and Dil.

iturama - 03 Oct 2018 09:26 - 9553 of 12628

Your cartoons are getting more and more desperate Fred. Go out and walk the dog in this Indian summer instead of spending all day looking to post the latest lunatic's effort to stop the inevitable.

Sequestor - 03 Oct 2018 09:35 - 9554 of 12628

Nobody lied at the ref., because nobody knew what would happen in detailed discussions. Both sides indulged in a guesstimate, the remainers more so as that prat Cameron spent millions of our cash on anti-Brexit leaflet propaganda.
Nobody lied about the weekly cash saving on Brexit either, the gross amount was correct .

Anyway we are OUT come March 2019

VICTIM - 03 Oct 2018 09:40 - 9555 of 12628

I've got Cameron down as a very deceiving individual , who hasn't had anywhere near enough condemnation of his role as PM . A bit of fury for his Chancellor too .

Fred1new - 03 Oct 2018 09:46 - 9556 of 12628

It,

Just trying to enlighten you before you throw your own keys away in the Asylum.

I am not certain that it is all over yet.

Still think Parliament may develop and a back bone and force a G/E.

PS.

Not my cartoons.

I wish I had the perceptive and artistic skills.

Fred1new - 03 Oct 2018 11:13 - 9557 of 12628

IT,

When the mob are shouting about how strong a woman Theresa is are they pointing out how weak they really think she is?

Or, has she found the Road to Damascus through the corn fields with Dil as her guide?

-=-==

If it wasn't serious the con party's and its conference in Birmingham would be seen as laughable.

-=-=-=

Mind I suppose they are drawing attention to Corbyn and his policy proposal which appeal to the general public.

The revolution is starting.

2517GEORGE - 03 Oct 2018 11:16 - 9558 of 12628

Be careful what you wish for Fred.

Fred1new - 03 Oct 2018 11:19 - 9559 of 12628

PS.

I thought the government under the care of Cameron and Osborne was an incompetent shower but didn't realise how far the con party had descended into anarchy.

They are really uniting the country and caring for their "HARD WORKING VOTERS." and fellow travellers.

(Those in the Cayman Isles.)

VICTIM - 03 Oct 2018 11:31 - 9560 of 12628

Must be watching Disney channel , as a guess . Backbone that's a word you shouldn't use really , as you couldn't get off your arse to put a little cross on a bit of paper .

Martini - 03 Oct 2018 12:24 - 9561 of 12628

Saw David Cameron in the village where I live on Saturday, getting his bikes serviced at a local Cyling shop. He was in what seemed like an ebullient mood and happy with the world. Well rid of it all I suspect, who would be a PM? Everything that goes wrong from act of god downwards is your fault.
Not long now eh Dil? I will start stocking up the disused nuclear shelter with baked beans, corned beef and beer as the end of the world begins huh.
O ps must not forget to pack dvds of England’s Rugby WC win.

Fred1new - 03 Oct 2018 13:17 - 9562 of 12628

What a really scintillating dance and song routine from Theresa.

Or was it a drone for the faithful and based on false hope.

Belongs to times past.

Rule Britania M + J.

Mind it should keep M and D happy.

Fred1new - 03 Oct 2018 14:20 - 9563 of 12628

Is it true Central Office sent a hearse to take TM home, by-passing the Priory Hospital?

required field - 04 Oct 2018 09:59 - 9564 of 12628

I bet David Cameron regrets giving us the referendum even though he probably would never admit it, …...but there you go he gave Britain a choice….from his point of view he probably should have just said no the backbenchers and let the Tory party split in two....then we would perhaps still be in the EU.... harsh... the Tories would have recovered in time,... but probably not without at least one Labour government taking control....

VICTIM - 04 Oct 2018 10:09 - 9565 of 12628

Never mind though , austerity has ended apparently , or she's attempting to smooth talk herself into favour , everything in the garden gonna be rosy .

Fred1new - 04 Oct 2018 10:14 - 9566 of 12628

RF.

Would you prefer this.

By the way who has suffered from and whose is still suffering from the tory austerity program imposed by Osborne and Cameron and how will it compare with the Brexit austerity program.

VICTIM - 04 Oct 2018 10:21 - 9567 of 12628

What happened to jimmy B , Chris Carson and MaxK by the way , do they feel betrayed by events .

cynic - 04 Oct 2018 10:47 - 9568 of 12628

there was only a referendum because of the threat of ukip

if limp lettuce corbyn had properly supported remain, which is what his party members wanted at the time even if jc personally did not, then it is very probable that remain would indeed have won the day

anyway, a reasonable majority of the country has voted to leave, and in one form or another, that is what will happen - and no 2nd referendum either
