Lambykins's Dutch Coffee House - ADULTS ONLY (LAMB)

Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

STORMCALLER - 01 Feb 2005 00:00 - 96 of 24230

Good evening all,
Only right that I should be late for opening day, reputation to protect after all, and to help me settle in as quickly as possible I will have a Guinness with a DP VIN chaser, should do the trick.
I think a toast is called for at this point in recognition of the super-human effort that went into getting this new emporium ship-shape in time stash the money
Hopefully bodes well for the future of the place.........cheers!

Just back from the cinema, I thoght the film was rubbish ! should have stayed here it would have been much more fun.

Golddog, great to see you here, that room was meant for you anyway, let us know if you have any private parties planned. Hope your having a biot of a rest after all the hard work you put into the other place.

amberjane, thats not you in that film dance is it ;-)

Stormcaller, please help yourself all drinks are free and there is no limit to how much you can have.

Lambykins - 01 Feb 2005 00:13 - 98 of 24230

Hello everyone, good to see you in here, Spaceman was a bit worried that no one would visits but I told him not to worry ;-)

Golddog, no you cant ring my bell because it mine and I don't like it being rung, you can stroke my ribbon though if you want.

chocolat - 01 Feb 2005 00:20 - 99 of 24230

chocolat - 01 Feb 2005 00:25 - 100 of 24230

Errrm, Kayak - you didn't come across a red suede kitten-heeled left shoe in that special place last night, did you? I was very attached to it, until I wasn't.

STORMCALLER - 01 Feb 2005 00:32 - 101 of 24230

Spaceman,
A most generous gesture....and I have, only polite after all, new place seems to work well, didn't have to wait at the bar (Always a worry at a new watering hole) so I'm happy..:-)

Spaceman - 01 Feb 2005 00:34 - 102 of 24230

Just catching up with Bully !

1) why are there security cameras in the Ladies ---> We want to make sure the ladies are secure.
2) why have you smeared WD40 over the toilet cisterns in the Gents ---> In case they need to oil their bike when they are in there.
3) the emergency rear exit is blocked in, is it a false door or is it a secret room ----> Both and neither
4) The widescreen TV is tuned to CBBC, are you saying something ---> no its changed over to Farmers TV now
5) I think Lambykins 'Las Vegas' style pen and personal gym are a tad excessive ----> Not if you own and run Shell.
6) Why have you employed Chocolate as the bouncer, in her condition and at her age is it wise ----> Probably not, what condition ??

STORMCALLER - 01 Feb 2005 00:34 - 103 of 24230

Unfortunately, I have a big day tomorrow, so have to leave now.
Gotta blow
G'night
SC

Spaceman - 01 Feb 2005 00:35 - 104 of 24230

Goodnight Stormy, sleep well.

Evening chocolat, K is probably wearing it now, I know I would be ;-)

chocolat - 01 Feb 2005 00:38 - 105 of 24230

What's this about me being bouncy then?

MightyMicro - 01 Feb 2005 00:43 - 106 of 24230

Lambykins: Would it be too much trouble to check the cellars for a few cases of Mumm Napa (I'm particulary concerned about the 1999 Winery Lake) and the Sterling Vineyards Three Palms Cabernet. Also, I'm expecting guests in the shape of a Mr Francis Ford Coppola and his pal Steve Jobs who were looking to consume some of the Niebaum-Coppola Diamond Zinfandel with their pasta.

It should all have been shipped over from the cafe, but you never know.

Thank you for your kind attention.

chocolat - 01 Feb 2005 00:44 - 107 of 24230

Furthermore, I'd like to know what Bullie was doing in the Ladies in the first place, and what compelled him to, err, have a rub of the cisterns in the Gents?

MightyMicro - 01 Feb 2005 00:47 - 108 of 24230

chocolat: there are some unfortunate people with strange habits that one should simply draw a veil over. And we've all seen Bullie with a strange habit (although it was adorning Ruth at the time).

chocolat - 01 Feb 2005 00:53 - 109 of 24230

True, MM
Just as well he didn't try sitting on the lid then, or he'd have found that his tool-kit has now been rust-proofed. ;)

MightyMicro - 01 Feb 2005 00:57 - 110 of 24230

chocolat: and well lubricated, of course, although it can remove the blueing from his barrel :)

[Gun cleaning tips: don't use WD40 on barrel exteriors.]

Spaceman - 01 Feb 2005 01:11 - 111 of 24230

Derek, have you had the blueing removed from your barrel?

Was that a veil that he had on his head at the xmas party the other year? looked pretty nasty.

chocolat, whats bouncing? I think we should be told ;-)

Good to see the late night shift in place, unfortunatley I have to leave in a few minutes.

Oh Derek, I just had a word with Lamby, yes its all down there in perfect condition, help yourself and if your a bit hungry there are plenty of Fish Fingers available with white bread and ketchup.

Bullshare - 01 Feb 2005 06:45 - 112 of 24230

Strange what you do when your heads on the wrong way round.
