It is now time to switch to a new Money AM football blog as the world cup is now over and we all look to the future.....World cup 2010 is over, Bravo Espana, and Forlan, once again and bring on the new season !.....I never expected the last thread to be such a success...thanks all.... so this new one might go on for years without the need to edit the title...we shall see...

I never knew that

The Scottish Football Association has hit out at the "disgraceful" booing of the Liechtenstein national anthem.

A section of Scotland fans jeered the anthem - which has the same tune as God Save The Queen - before their side's 2-1 victory in the Euro 2012 qualifier.

SFA acting chief executive George Peat said he was "embarrassed" by the booing at Hampden on Tuesday.

Devolution for the scots, and years of strong economic growth for England await.

Poor old 'arry -):

All this talk about an English manager for the England team, how about BL? -): .. cause we certainly don't want him.

Access his credentials at 5pm today http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00tqt0t

Some things are more important then football and will overshadow today's game http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-merseyside-11264127

Every credit to Sir Alex dropping Rooney for the cauldran of Goodison, he would have been crucified. Even as an Evertonian still respect Rooney for if nothing else his ability, even had him as 1st goalscorer :o) May the best team win (as long as they are wearing blue)!

HARRYCAT - 11 Sep 2010 16:49 - 105 of 6918

Moyes not a happy chappy apparently. Thought his boys could have scored a fourth before the whistle!
Newcastle down 2 goals to Blackpool! Who would have thought??????
Still, Delia is a happy cook/director, so all is well with the world! ;o)

Joe Say - 12 Sep 2010 08:13 - 106 of 6918

Dil - 12 Sep 2010 15:11 - 107 of 6918

.... did your two overated , useless English tw*ts play or was it down to the rest of the world to do the biz Joe ?

Chris , landlord is an Evertonian (he more lost than me given where we live) but agrees about yesterdays decision re Rooney and thinks that one day he'll return to his roots. Great comeback .

Chris Carson - 12 Sep 2010 15:21 - 108 of 6918

Cheers Dil, reckon your landlords right Rooneys still an Evertonian, never had a good game when he's played at Goodison in a red shirt.

Biggest surprise this weekend was Barcelona beaten at home by Hercules ...0-2...I believe....I forgot to put a bet on Barca...otherwise....would have lost....and forgot to put a bet on Hamilton (formula 1)....out on the first lap....and I bet that plenty of folks bet on Man U...3-1 up at one time...off topic but going for Nadal tonight....not done well at all since the start of the world cup on the betting front...everything has gone pearshaped since then.....

Joe Say - 13 Sep 2010 07:24 - 110 of 6918

oh the irony Dil - you ask of frank and JT in the chaviest of ways and then refer to the great home coming of the wife-cheating shrek.

guess whose more likely to have the last laugh ?

COYB

Chris Carson - 13 Sep 2010 08:37 - 111 of 6918

Joe - Rooney will have the last laugh more talent in his big toe than either frank or JT. Fergie didn't play Rooney (Who incidentally would either have scored a hat trick or more probably have been sent off.) on Saturday because he obviously felt he didn't need him. He got it wrong, never over till the fat lady sings! Thought the blow up doll that was floating around Gwladys Street and ended up on the pitch summed it up nicely. :o))

Dil - 13 Sep 2010 08:57 - 112 of 6918

Wife cheating lol the irony Joe ... rife at Chelsea isn't it ?

Joe Say - 13 Sep 2010 18:27 - 113 of 6918

touche

Joe Say - 13 Sep 2010 18:28 - 114 of 6918

anyway played some Bob Marley to forget the football

No woman no kai

Chris Carson - 14 Sep 2010 09:08 - 115 of 6918

Rooney reunited with kai, ahhh don't you just love a happy ending! Game against Rangers tonight should be interesting. Battle of Britain nonsense no doubt, but hey who cares who beats United :o)

Joe Say - 15 Sep 2010 07:19 - 116 of 6918

have to say that these battle of britain results always surprise me in the sense that your average fan would say the english team should win, and yet the results more often than not are anything but that
