lelael ,,no point telling us about it now !!!

lelael - 09 Apr 2010 08:17 - 977 of 3666

jb, I've been posting it regularly since Christmas, I think they say "you can take a horse to water etc, etc.". But it is high risk, it could be back to 80p if they don't get the go ahead. (or 800p if they do).

HARRYCAT - 14 Apr 2010 11:29 - 978 of 3666

Oil price slipping & AFR going with it. Does that qualify for a head & shoulders on the graph, or do both shoulders need to be the same height?

cynic - 14 Apr 2010 11:42 - 979 of 3666

no idea, and prob not really relevant for a stock like AFR
only valid chart "thing" is the persistent and stubborn resistance at 105

London, 19th April 2010 -
" Afren plc will be presenting at the Bank of America Merrill Lynch London E&P Conference on Monday 19 April 2010.

The presentation materials are available on Afren's website at www.afren.com ".

jkd - 19 Apr 2010 13:43 - 981 of 3666

looks double toppy to me with high at 105sh needing to be broken.
nothing you dont All already know.
so i guess its a hold but dont add yet with that possible set up sitting overhead.
but then it depends on ones own investement criteria. we are all different.
all just my opinion and as always please all dyor
i truly hope this breaks 105 before 80.
regards and good luck to all
jkd

As I sold out at 102p, am now waiting for a good entry point. Oil price sliding, election coming & no news expected from AFR in the short term, sub 90p looks possible to me, which would be a very nice entry point (maybe support at 85p on the rising 200 DMA?).

Nar1 - 20 Apr 2010 08:24 - 983 of 3666

80p would be nice entry point and then follow it up back up to 1.03

Balerboy - 20 Apr 2010 09:04 - 984 of 3666

Don't think we'll see 90p as markets up and oil back above 82$.

ellio - 22 Apr 2010 09:32 - 985 of 3666

Who thinks 200p+ by Xmas? and who thinks we will still be at 105?

Balerboy - 22 Apr 2010 20:58 - 986 of 3666

105 for me

Nar1 - 28 Apr 2010 19:09 - 987 of 3666

I am waiting and watching

Aggggghhhh......

required field - 05 May 2010 08:47 - 989 of 3666

What on earth is happening here ?.....down 5p..

Balerboy - 05 May 2010 08:47 - 990 of 3666

Still in profit here and am reluctant to sell any..mid 80's got to be the low here.......isn't it.. more toth ache rf? lol

required field - 05 May 2010 08:51 - 991 of 3666

This is costing me now.....

dealerdear - 05 May 2010 12:29 - 992 of 3666

Decided to trade it. In at 83.5 and out at 89.5 although I am also holding at slightly higher levels but that will do for now.

required field - 05 May 2010 20:39 - 993 of 3666

Yep !...well done dealerdear....I have shares and longs...stuck in the latter ...I'm just not going to take a loss...as I got them at a higher price..

required field - 07 May 2010 16:40 - 994 of 3666

And just look at this...aggghhhddd...to make matters worse..

HARRYCAT - 07 May 2010 16:45 - 995 of 3666

Hmm... that looks like a buy pretty soon to me. Support at 80+p? Falling oil price is presumably a factor here aslo?
