Theres another good trojen remover call "A squared " which might also deal with the problem, also if it has a name, google it and you can usually find a remedy for removal.,.

Thanks both for your help, I have removed AVG. The malware software didn't work. I have googled it and it seems the Trojan can reside in Java. This seems to be my case, as when I open any website needing java I get the warning. I will remove java and reinstall it as per google advice later today and let you know if that works. Again help much appreciated. H

I have an Epsom which uses 4 cartridges. Three primary and 1 black.
I get my compatibles from internet-ink.co.uk.
Used them for over a year.Never any trouble, fast delivery
and they are about half the price.
edit
They also have about twice the ink.

klal,as i understand it Kodak printers are the cheapest printer to run ink cartridge wise i think both the black and colour ones together are only about £20 and rather than have many differant variations of cartridge they just have one size across all the printer range.

Require some help please folks,
I am having some problems on a new Android handset for setting up emails i am setting it up using a aol.co.uk address the messages are been received onto the hanset which is port 110 but its not sending messages out.
After speaking to Mr Patel on the help desk he was not much help mainly due to the language barrier is the most polite way of describing it,so any of you wise folks are that these are the port settings for the external send messages or do i need to change it ???
It cannot be a major problem as the incoming message are being recived by the handset.
Many thanks and any help would be most welcome.

If AOL is not the browser used to connect you to the internet you will only receive emails. I have a Vodaphone dongle for my laptop when away, my email is with talktalk, i can receive but not send. Suggest you open a new email address in your android browser. Hope i'm right and hope it helps. BB

MB,
You might like to consider taking out a subscription with
these boys.
I use their outgoing smtp address on:-
My desk PC connnected to the internet via BE Unlimited
My wife's laptop.
My Samsung Android S2 phone with an o2 sim card at home and roaming
The same setting when the S2 is picking up wifi in my home or elsewhere
My Android (wifi) only Toshiba tablet.
I have two email addresses @compuserve.com (now part of AOL) and several email addresses hosted at my photographic web server.
Years ago I recommended AuthSmtp to friends travelling with laptops who were constantly baffled by the need to change their outgoing smtp settings when they moved from hotel to hotel. With this system you never change anything.
It seems to work with all the mail systems. I have nPOP, Virtual Access, Thunderbird and on my Androids I have K-9.
I am sure there will be a free trial MB. Give it a go.

In the days when outlook express, a dedicated email prog loaded on a pc would work, all email address's could be loaded on and downloaded. But as usual something useful won't work on modern systems. Glad to say i still run xp on laptop and can still use outlook express.,.

Thanks gents for all your advice and help etc but even after being onto the AOL help desk still has notsorted the problem out.I am giving it a break today but will attempt another long session tomorrow.
This what its setup as per Aol help desk from down town Delhi but the port settings can be differant from various forums so i have tried a fair few options. Its only the outgoing part of it that does not work so it so near yet so far away.
ncoming server.
imap.aol.com
port
143
security type nil
this accepts emails exactly as they should be.
Out going server
smtp.aol.com
port
587
security type
none
When you click on say a reply email or even start a new one,it attempts to send the email but after trying it comes up with the message 'connection error'.

MB,
I see that AuthSMTP give you
a money back guarantee
If you are going to allocate time for a 'long session' tomorrow why don't you see if this works?
My experience of AOL, who took over Compuserve, is not glowing. I only stay with them as I have two nice email addresses that I am reluctant to abandon. Last week they moved two important documents from my inbox to spam during Wednesday night. They then blocked access to my 'settings' due to a network failure. Eventually I got into my system at AOL and recovered the documents, but they don't make it easy.
AuthSMTP have a logging system which you can access and it allows you to see where, if anywhere, your messages are going and whether they are being bounced.
Needless to say I am not 'associated' with them - simply enthusiastic (a rare quality in these days of recession.....)

Have you installed the new Android Ice Cream Sandwich update as you will need to set up the email again? It is out on Orange for Galxy S2 today.

H.
I upgraded my S2 on o2 to ICS about three weeks ago and did not have to set up my email again. Mind you I am using k-9 and not the standard one.
All that changed was my Home page.
